This home is so beautiful! Just absolutely STUNNING! So glad to see someone actually restoring a historic home instead of gutting it and making it look like every other modern home that exists now.

This place SHOULD be declarei Scotland's heritage and be transformed into a museum. The level of details, the level of perfection,,,The Man who did this restoration has my sincere admiration and ser. Fantastic.

I’d cry too if I owned that home. The rotunda took my breath away. It’s glorious and the homeowner did a stunning job!

The favourite space is the Atrium. A quiet space with plants and places to sit allowing one to soak up the greenery. A rainy day would be perfect.

This is a stunning ageless work of art, i shudder at how so called modern has resulted in a square empty space with huge glass windows, leaving no privacy or place for dignity at all. It must be a mind control conspircy that we have accepted that, leaving us too frightened to entertain the idea of true beauty. I think its time the people went back to the days of glorious beauty instead of blank walls with windows.

Stunning gorgeous work and it looks totally like an aristocratic residence. Imagine if the entire house was owned and decorated to this standard. The effect is perfection.

This is the most spectacular place I have ever seen...it indeed does make you weep when you take in all of it. Its a feast for the eyes! Layers upon layers of beauty. To live in something like this must be heaven on earth. There are castles, chateaus, grand villas and then you have this Victorian opulence that has a little bit of all of those other places...but a total sense of "home sweet home." I wish I lived there!

It is sad how this much detail and caring into carving and rounded glass, and stained glasses, and woodworking does not exist today

It's just WOW! He did a brilliant job, I usually do not like opulent stuff like gilding, but here it belongs just like all the other stuff. There is no nicer anywhere

How lovely. The owner has outdone himself! I lived in Edinburgh as a student 40 years ago and saw some spectacular homes, but never anything like this wonderful Glasgow property. Though I was once at a party at someone’s parents’ home in Kingsborough (? Burgh?) Gardens , if I remember the street correctly.

This home is exuberant, and an appreciation for the arts and for artisans oozes out of every cornice, curtain, and cushion. I imagine it sort of gradually unfolding before you - discovering small treasures as you get to know the space. Well done!

This house is magnificent. This is the proper way to interior decorate. It actually likes lived in. I hate that modern crap that’s been forced upon us. The good Gentleman who’s responsible for this is a Master Interior Architect. There is not one display of Kitsch. The Pompeian fresco’s (?) look more authentic now uncovered of wallpaper than they may’ve in their newness. This is a proper townhouse. And thankGod for the rich of that day. Look what they left us with. Don’t let the woke because they’ll hate. The woke are the ugly ones. Antifa would destroy this entire house in 5 minutes.

This is a truly beautiful home…but I think the decor is a little too much and competes with the ornate ceilings , windows ..and bones of the home

Very un-Scottish vulgar display of “possessions “ that used an army of underpaid retainers to keep them dusted. The Victorians over-indulged themselves in very bad taste but everything was well crafted & hangs around today often in a pretty sound condition, the simpler pieces are the best.

Its so overdone I can't even watch anymore. Its claustrophobic.
