There are more Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney than the whole of America...Australia has 250,000 Vietnamese, 1% of the population., equivalent to 3.75 million in USA... In Cabramatta in Western Sydney 60% 0f the population is Vietnamese. 3 flight a day from Australia to Vietnam DIRECT !!!
Kyle, my congratulations to all your Youtbue videos! I am Taiwanese who lived in Saigon from 1972-1975! I have been living in the Dallas Texas, since the 80's. Really enjoying all your videos! Maybe one day soon, you can be my guide to Vietnam! Warm regards!
+min tha the best is yet to come. My channel is about how food can relatr people. Food is a part of life. This channel aims to present life..not represent it. When you have a camera infront of you. When you are aware of a camera infront of you...
Vietnamese/Chinese District in Paris is the best Vietnamese place in Europe! This is the only place where asian food in europe can reach the level of american asian food xD
Anh Phung i have been there but the food is not better than in paris. The place in prague is like in berlin, manymany things to buy. I like all places but for me nothing can top paris :)
13th arrondissement is not a Chinese district but in Indochinese one. Chinese people have their own places in Paris. 3th, and 20th are theirs. People from Indochina & Chinese are two different communities. The young generation gather together from time to time especially when clubbing.
didn't know there were that many immigrants in Paris. my wife has an Aunt living in Paris, Speaks the language & was a RN there, now retired & guess she'll live the rest of the life in Paris. Pretty cool.
I spent a month 2 arrondissement away...I think it was 12...by the Marche aux Puces at the Porte de Vanves. This was at the height of the Great Recession. I was weekly in the Vietnamese quarter...
This is funny because I never eat a good pho in quan 13. The only one I liked is pho from Pho 13. Besides, one of my teacher came to Vietnam and when she came back to Paris, she told me "I'm all the time disappointed eating a pho in Paris, I never found the vietnamese taste until I came to Pho 13" It seems you only came to Quan 13. But you have a great restaurant in Quan 5 in Paris, at Censier Daubenton or Place Monge called "Foyer Vietnam" and it's pretty good actually!
+Anh Phung sorry, I've been there already and you'll see the video in the future but it was good but I'm not a fan of northern style pho as much as southern style pho.
OMG, that night club full of senile people singing "unchain my heart" made me laugh my ass off. That's what you'll be when you become a senior citizen. Kyle, please spare me the cauchemar, find some young chicks please.
kyle is back in the states as we speak. these videos are old and were sitting on the shelves for moments like these. he is airing unseen footages from his various travels, he is back in southern California replying to your posts. am I right kyle? lol
+Liem Huynh I'm not in socal at the moment. I was there for a few days and will return for a longer stay soon. I'm traveling to collect footage for videos as we speak. Will edit and produce them later on as my life changes
+tamar tamar when it comes to translations, it'll never be 100% due to time, space allowance, and overall readability. As long as you the basic jist is there, it is fine.
+tamar tamar after watching the segment again. I stand by my translation and subtitling. Omitting the walking home from school because school was mentioned a few sentences later to save readable space. Translation is an art, it's not perfect and will never be directly 100% the same meaning because of space and time
