I am a person who is curious about new cultures and languages and as a result, I am leading a more productive, fulfilling & happy life here." And the response: yess saar!! Agreed the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around $300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.

I can answer why you see such a wealth gap in India.. In capitalism, first the rich one get rich, then the next layer, and next layer. So yes, India is at an inflection point where income inequality is high. But as they will grow their business, startup ecosystem boosts, Manufacturing booms.. The gap will reduce and personal wages will grow like the ones in china today. China also had tremendous wealth inequality in the 2000s. China's GDP as a share of world in 2000 was same as India in 2023.

IST is definitely a real thing, perhaps best characterized by the ubiquitous Indian phrase "Just now coming." For a Western person who is used to everything running on to-the-minute schedules it's quite a patience-building exercise.

Living in India as an artiste, the American is surely viewing at india, Europe :& America through a different looking glass altogether. I really see and appreciate the depth in his "weltanschaung" and its extremely interesting to listen to various views from his perspective altogether. Good podcast.

This is an incredible interview. I really enjoyed his comments on the NYC culture and how the US is not better off than when our parents experienced it. I’ve thought about how working abroad can be a hidden gem for westerners. Very interesting

He has hit the nail on the head. "the moment you say you are the greatest country" you are finished. We in India are on the verge of ruin because the last 10 years we have had leaders who are saying the same thing. We better watch out or else we are doomed. We have to stop this trend before its too late!!!!
