Excellent analysis. Tommy has severely stepped up his game. He has lost twice against Kade, but both of them are results of changing up the game midfight rather than being defeated. The first was much more even matched, but the second one had some defining actions taken by Kade which makes it more obvious who won... but even in victory he can only score advantages against Tommy. I think ADCC this year will be a very, VERY solid showing for Tommy. As long as he can avoid injuries (he had a severe groin injury prior to last one and had to pull guard and fight from the bottom with really only one functioning leg against PJ) this year will be a good one. Also the mat storming was done for both of the fighters because Tommy and Davis are friends and Davis has visited Wulfing Academy to train in the past. He is a friend of not only Tommy, but Wulfing as a whole. That's the reason why Tommy held in his victory cheering after winning the finals despite it all.
Ah thanks for that info! I really liked the scene at the end but I hoped that Davis wasn't upset about being lofted in the air after a loss. Knowing that they're all friends makes it even more wholesome. Thanks for the comment!
Amazing video buddy. Just to clarify... In the first match Tommy submit with a shoulder lock in a similar position of a Dagestan handcuff. Thanks for the video!
@@CombatArcade If you listen closely to the ending of the match you will hear a guy from Tommy's crew (Christian Stava) who shouts "Politi grepet!" which translates to "Police grip". Basically it is when you have the arm of the opponent across his own back and pulls upwards. It's a variant of the hammerlock. Just from mount rather than side control. But the smother probably did its job as well.
It seems like you all have the best time mate. Love all of you for what you do. Sounds corny, but give all the crew a thank you for me if you'd care to. 😁 Keep killing it brother ✌🏼❤️

But the ref didn't react to the original singular tap, though Tommy COULD have reacted thinking it was a tap. So in such cases a fighter can be forgiven for not reacting to what was intended to be a tap. For the fighters own safety, never do the "Brazilian tap" (unintentional or not) expecting them to release. Might well only result in life-long injuries if the recipient (Tommy here) is very, very experienced and never lets go before the tap is called by the ref.
