LOVE Bracken Man, what an awesome fragrance. This is a brilliant go to Summer fragrance; plus last forever on me. I hear you about Viking, such a polarising perfume. Yep, Viking took some getting use to (that clove note!); whereas for me I fell in love pretty quickly with Viking Cologne. Love using this one over our summer months; this is my perfect evening/going out fragrance (not great on the longevity during the day, but just enough for the evening adventure). Hey @Mohamed Abdel Kader you are one of the strong that can fall in love with Viking on the first go. I'm falling in love with it more and more. Like I said in the video it is exciting that the fragrance is so complex, a tribute to the House of Creed. Tough match up Mohamed, I love Neroli Sauvage; beautiful spring/summer fragrance. For me I find that Viking Cologne has a male undertone (on the drydown), whereas Neroli stays lighter on me. If you're after a 'masculine' edge to your fragrance, then recommend Cologne BUT please test first! Don't blind buy (not a fan of blind buying) because fragrance is subjective and very personal (the oils react different on us). Good luck my brother! Interesting that you pick up the 'mint' note the most...for me that clove really pops on the opening. It is an interesting interpretation of the Scandinavia region and I do enjoy wearing it. Great to hear from you @max larsen

I think you've nailed it with Viking being a great fragrance that appeals to women. I was honestly surprised at my wife's instant like of Viking (she calls it the 'the dirty Viking' based on my story in the video....loves it when I'm wearing it). Yep, the 2 Cologne’s don’t get a lot of love but I actually rate them….I think they’re pretty good. I’ve tested Spice and Wood but don’t currently own this one….and yes, I think it’s amazing, awesome fragrance

Spice and wood is wonderful for a woman. All those bottles in the gold are better suited for women as they lean that way. Creed Viking Cologne.. it sits in the middle of their line up. It’s dependable and likeable but it’s not a knock your socks off original. It’s just really good for the summer and those warm spring days. If they would have not named it Viking cologne I could almost guarantee it would get more love. I think their downfall was the naming and it would be better if it had more strength

I love the way you’ve explained both of these fragrances and I completely agree… You know what’s interesting though I now absolutely love the opening of Viking. The very note that was unsettling for me is now what I look for when I spray this fragrance. And yes Viking cologne is a winner from start to finish…. i’m guessing by now you have the fragrance and enjoying it💫👊🏽

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector very interesting that you know enjoy what you specifically didn’t like about Viking! I believe it though! The very first time I tested Tom Ford Beau de Jour something about it didn’t sit right with me, I now own a bottle and it’s one of my absolute favorites!! I will give Viking more time. I mean, I already own it so will spend more time with it and see how my thoughts change. And yes I now have VC and really liking it, even wore it on a warmer day and quite enjoyed it. Now that I’ve spent more time with it I now get the reference to Terre d Hermes. Not a clone by any means but there is a hint of a similar note that I catch but still different fragrances to me.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector so it’s now a month later and the weather has cooled off, the air is crisp outside, and I decided to give Viking another chance. I always felt like this would shine in the colder weather, so I don’t know if it’s that, or if I adapted; I haven’t tried it since a month ago so I haven’t “gotten used to it” but this experience was MUCH better and the opening wasn’t as harsh. It’s there, just not as sharp and I enjoyed it. The dry down was always great, it was just the opening I wasn’t too fond of. Glad I held on to this bottle and didn’t sell it, it’ll treat me well this Fall/Winter! 🤗

Our male nose struggles with the opening but the women in our lives LOVE this fragrance from start to finish. So yeah, I would have to agree with your girlfriend; this fragrance is a winner. I completely agree that Viking Cologne is its own stand alone. I don't see it as a flanker either. And yes, Aventus really takes all the stagelight, where in the Creed family there are some really strong fragrances (but don't get talked about as much). I'm finding that both the Cologne's in the Creed range are really good stand alone fragrances. I know that they're titled as 'flankers' but I find that they have their own personality and stand apart from it's namesake brother. Plus I find that with Viking, it's perfect as a winter fragrance but Cologne is actually better in Summer. Great to hear from you @The Tech Librarian; appreciate you reaching out👊🏼

Silver Mountain is the only one that I haven't crossed over on the Creed's....I think it's the blackcurrent note that throws me off?? @@TheNicheFragranceCollector Yes I seen your review thank you, I’ve browsed through most of your videos and watched the fragrances I’m interested in, I personally like black current, i’m from the USA and my local Costco has Silver Mountain water 100ml for $200.00 and I was thinking that’s a pretty good deal, I’m still kicking myself last year for not buying erolfa for $129.99 when Costco had it in stock. But alas I am still undecided I have a fairly large collection at this point and have tried to stay away from buying things unless they truly wow me.

Funny I sampled Aventus Cologne and I found it too similar to normal Aventus; whereas the Viking twins have a personality of their own....but you know, I'm going to revisit this and see if I still get the same vibe with the Aventus ones. Yeah received my Aventus Cologne with Green Irish Tweed last week and chose the Aventus Cologne because it does for me honestly smells a little fresher and more crisp scent... But going to eventually get original Aventus👍😁

I do like Aventus Cologne but I already had Aventus and found that I was doubling up on this scent profile….big fan of GIT though, another awesome Creed fragrance🥰
