We agree, D’Angelo was super excellent in their inspection & The Villages got on it to fix all of the areas that needed correction. So impressive & so worth it!! Just calendar 18 months from now, after you get your dryer cleaning vent cleaned as well as your tankless water heater drained, to have it done again!!!

Totally agree Penny it is a must if you live here in TV! Also, regular maintenance is something each home owner has to plan on. Thanks for watching and for your input!

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm in Cottage Village's West in Hawkins. The accessibility, the amenities, the Villages Health service all above and beyond my wildest dreams. Everything for me is just perfect. I've never been happier in my life. I'm so happy to be here. I enjoy your videos immensely and hoping your wife Shirley is feeling better good luck with her recovery. Stay well and keep enjoying your wonderful life here in The Villages

Hey TB- Thank you for the shout out! I also really enjoyed our conversation. I forwarded this video to my former next door neighbor; he produced the maple syrup you mentioned- I know he'll be tickled when he watches. I appreciate your comment about getting good medical care. I am concerned about that and haven’t seen much about it. Would you please do a video about how you decided on TV Health? I’ve seen a few comments that it is one option and others are going to Ocala or a hospital/drs thru FSU, but don’t know anything about the differences in care or cost.

Not sure about Ocala but I will be digging into that more soon. As for TVH its really been a nice experience for us. The convenience of having a healthcare provider so close by was key for us. TVH provides us with everything we needed so with that it was an easy choice.

Hello from a fellow Delunian! Only thing I would disagree with you on is the healthcare, but that may be because we are on the younger side and still working. We have found we need to leave The Villages to get appointments for our BC\BS since so much in TV is geared towards Medicare and TV Advantage plans. Lots of great options once we get 5-10 miles away, but was surprised how difficult healthcare is if you don't carry\are not eligible for TV's preferred plan.

I am having the same problem here. I am 57 years old and can’t find a doctor in The Villages Health system that will take me. How did you find your doctor?

I do agree Gone_Flying, the HC is a difficult situation especially if you are younger. For us, it works because we are old enough, carry the supplemental plan...making it a huge qualifier. Stay Awesome fellow DeLunatic!

@@lyndaseringa7929 I went outside of The Villages Health (am 56). All 4 doctors I have (Primary + 3 specialty) are associated with Advent Health. I've had great experiences with all and am very happy.

@@thevillagesdelunaI’m not sure what you mean by the supplemental plan being a huge qualifier? The Villages Health doesn’t accept Medicare Supplemental Plans for Primary Care. You have to have an Advantage plan. We know because we can’t use TVH due to having traditional Medicare plus supplement G. Hope to see you around DeLuna someday. We are at 8 months here in Verandas North. 😊

Glad to hear Shirley is better. Great video! Good information. Thank you. Question: Do you find healthcare in the Villages is available to people with Medicare? When I visited a couple of facilities they took Medicare Advantage which I don't have.

Great video. We have been visiting and looking at locations for a couple years. We live about hour south of you. You mentioned nice neighbors. We don't even know the names of our neighbors. Very unfriendly. U mentioned the cleanliness of TV..I agree. I can't stand litter or unkept lawns, bushes etc. whether main roads or neighborhood roads. I cannot wait to move.

one more thing... Where did the proposal for that : Wellness Center locating in the new are of Eastport?? It seems it is off the table or on permanent hold? Many feel that we need it since the existing health system got a "1" out of "5" for the quality of care.

Great information!! Glad your wife Shirley is getting better!! I too am a 4.5 tennis player. Question: What is your doctors name and location, as I just moved from the NY area into Monarch Grove. My rear yard is on Corbin Trail!! Thanks again for you great videos!! Noah

Hey Noah, thanks for watching and welcome to TV! If' I'm correct...Corbin Trail will allow you to get over to the newer sections (Eastport, Middleton) really quick. We use Dr Hannah over at BW health services, as I mentioned she's been Super!

The villages is 99% white, 90 % republican, upper middle class/wealthy, Disney world for adults, I prefer to mix in with other Americans. I do not want to be isolated from problems and issues.

Again can't disagree as diversity is an issue within TV. The great thing is everyone has the right to choose what fits best for them. I do recognize TV is not for everybody. Thanks for watching and for your input!
