I'm a transplanted northerner. I don't consider myself better than the native Florida residents, or anyone else for that matter. I also have no desire to "change" Florida. I appreciate the beautiful wildlife and kind people and feel privileged to live here.

Skip Italian Steakhouse refers to Florentine Steak. Have you never heard that the Florence area in Tuscany in Italy is known for its beef? Just like the Argentinian steakhouses you see in every big city

I wonder if the 79-year-old woman had dementia, or some other problem. It seems a bit strange that a woman in my opinion almost 80 years old and lives in the villages would bother to steal and most people if they would steal, I suppose they would hide a few items, but not put 100 items in a cart.

BTW, I think the Italian Steak House term comes from places like Chicago and where I grew up, near the meat packing district in Manhattan NYC. It's an ala cart menu thing, full service, white tablecloth.

beer lines that long. As a former keg delivery man for a large midwest beer distributor I did the maintenance often on beer lines in taverns. To run beer through lines long enough to reach neighboring business' NO THANKS . Ever seen or smelled a beer bottle that had just a swig of beer left in it for awhile. It has hops and yeast and sugar in it. Ever seen that blue green glob in the bottom of the bottle. YOU, I would think would be old enough to remember those cases that had the hard flap lids on the cardboard boxes. That beer sitting in the lines overnight in a hot humid climate. Glad to see no one got sick or maybe they did and know one knew why. I had seen beer lines used regularly have clumps run out of them. ever wonder why some have intestinal issues from draft beer? Great concept but...

There was a bad accident on Morris Blvd today just north of 466 traffic was backed up from this accident past the two traffic lights all the way to my turn. They had fire rescue there, one SUV had his whole front end mashed half way back to the windshield. It looked like 3 cars involved.

In my opinion, when they stop someone for a traffic stop or a possible drinking too much alcohol, they shouldn’t give them a balance test, or whatever that’s called, I believe that’s a waste of time just take the breathalyzer or a blood test. Some people due to being older or other medical problems might fail the balance test and I think it’s not scientific anyway I do believe it’s good to get strict about people driving without following the traffic laws. It’s too bad there isn’t some kind of shuttle to take people home that they could take after drinking alcohol if they didn’t have somebody else to take them home.

My opinion, the man that stole those things in Home Depot, who had a prior history of two other staffs should’ve spent at least some time in jail instead of just having to post a bond. He needs some sort of punishment, because if he gets it too easy then he hasn’t learned any lesson.
