Another banger. Thank you. Love how you broke it down at the end how wild it was these guys back then were just popping people in broad daylight. It’s nuts
Great locations mate , it gives a good perspective to the story . Weather looks great just a shame you didn’t have smellivision . I’m right in the mood for some pizza now lol . 👍
Imagine all of the other non mafia killers and tough guys in the late 60's, 70s, 80s & early 90s running through the 5 boroughs. 30 bad years. There were plenty. Great channel!
Fantastic Brett All this over one of VG friends whistling at a female relative of Ninos Then getting into a fight Didn’t realise Vincent had a wife and Kids very Sad 😔
Good work man keep it up!!! Really nice when more and more Cosa Nostra channels connect and share their content with us to get a better understanding of what was really happening at the time
I think Nino Gaggi could well be one of the most interesting stories in Cosa Nostra. He clearly was a power yet there seems to be some mystery surrounding the man - notwithstanding all the DM stories. I wish there were sufficient materials about him to write an in-depth bio. I’d certainly buy it. But someone better get started soon because there probably are not many still around who knew him well.
Dude had power, he was a Gangster since the late 40’s and Paul was installed as Boss in his house. Difference was he wanted to stay in the shadows, and have extremely capable guys like Roy and The Gemini Crew earning for him. Sorta like a criminal and murderous Am-Way Representative. 😲😂
@@CAROLUSPRIMA Nino was an unassuming looking guy. If you look at his FBI Mugshot or Roy’s, for that matter. You just see this old guy, not a killer. I bet you on the street, driving his Cadillac and listening to Frank Sinatra on his 8-Track, he’s the poster child for a Mafioso.
Talk about holding a grudge sheesh he held one for over a decade....DAMN , Nino must of really been in his feelings to want Revenge over a fist fight, an he was the one with the 🔨 not the other guy lol...
GREAT STUFF AS ALLWAYS WONDERING IF U SAW ON DOMINICKS CHANNEL HIS LAST VID THEY SHOWED A PIC OF THE APARTMENT BEHIND THE GEMINI WHERE THE MURDERS TOOK PLACE GOOD STUFF DIDNT THINK THE APARTMENT WAS THAT SMALL
@@petermiller1565 You're wrong. Brnsonhurst borders are 86th Street, 14th Avenue, 60th Street, McDonald Avenue, Avenue P, Stillwell Ave. and Bay Parkway. Bath Beach, Mapleton, Dyker Heights, Gravesend, and Borough Park are not part of Bensonhurst.
Men were very prideful and competitive back then. Why do you think we used to get into fights everyday in grade school. And in high school too. There was always sh*t going on. And of course the mob that was a different world altogether.
Vinny was stupid, if there's a gangster that you wouldn't want as an enemy it's Nino. Vinny insults Nino's sister in law and punches Nino. Shockingly he lived as long as he did, since the incident occurred 12 years earlier.
@@backagain5216 Well..... If you paid attention in your neighborhood, you know who's a Goodfella and who isn't. Vinny wasn't paying attention, and that was a fatal error. You can't put your hands on a made guy, and you can't disrespect a made guy. Both incidents are grounds for getting whacked. That's why if you lived in Bath Beach, Canarsie or Bensonhurst, you better know who's in the life and who isn't. Even an associate is a wannabe and he's going to whack him. He can't be seen as less than, so he has to show respect and honor to the rules.
@@MarineCorpsSergeantTollens I doubt he knew in the 60s who the coward Nino was. I’ve dealt with these losers and the first thing they say is, “ Do you know who I am?” They are and were cowards. Thats why they are in a gang. Make sense?
@@backagain5216 Thing is, when you live in a ( Mafia Neighborhood ) it's incumbent upon you to know ( who not to FAFO ) with. Vinny went to elementary school with Nino's nephew Dominick Montiglio. So he's a Bath Beach resident and he knows all about connected guys like Nino. If you're a law abiding family, you avoid dealing with those people. If you're a knock around neighborhood guy, then you need to know them. So that you make sure not to run a foul of them, like he did. Also so that you put it out there, your a capable guy. Can handle yourself and can keep quiet. NYC was a place where disrespect to the wrong person, could be fatal. That wasn't just because of Mafia types either. Blacks and Hispanics would have put Vinny in the ground for a similar display of disrespect. They would have asked around, if he was connected then a sit-down would have to happen. If he wasn't, then as we know, he is a dead man walking. That's just a reality.
WOW ! Those Were the day's when it was wide open jungle law ! With out the Technology , and cameras - EVERYWHERE ! - in Today's world... Rat's , cameras , and wiretaps are what put a tremendous dent , and the eventual end to Cosa Nostra.
