Here’s my fan theory of the Lloyd Cinematic Universe lore: Lloydville is a town populated entirely by clones of Lloyd (with the original Lloyd presumably being the mayor) and all of Lloyds run various jobs throughout town. Because all of the Lloyds are working at the same time, however, they rarely get customers in each of their respective shops. To stop from dying of boredom and to keep their customer service skills sharp, they all talk to a camera as if it were a real person, and record themselves while doing so. The Lloyd’s ASMR channel is a found footage archive of these tapes. thank you for coming to my ted talk :)
This is kinda what I was thinking, except more Truman Show-y. There is only one Lloyd. People can enter and exit Lloydville, but Lloyd himself cannot. He has gone into madness, his supernatural power corrupting the world around him to the point that humans cannot enter the region without risking bodily harm. The cameras are from well designed robots that keep Lloyd from destroying the globe, while scientists monitor this one man civilization.
@@j5892000 not really, most are a bit too fast, if you've watched him say, about 7 years ago, he also made ASMR slightly faster than the ones he uploads nowadays
Thanks Lloyd. I have to have watched this 40-50 times. Vintage bartender is the best character in the ASMR community. I look forward to passing through Lloydville soon so I can stop in for a drink
Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you enjoy this! I will definitely have more of these in the future. Thanks so much for your donation, it's much appreciated.
Other Asmr artist can go fast or loud but you ALWAYS carry the same soft, gentle realistic feel.thank you so much for your dedication to your videos & putting thousands of people to sleep.
Up until a few months ago, I was a bartender myself. It was probably my favorite job I've had, as I usually found the act of making drinks to be satisfying and fun. When things got busy though, it was one of the least relaxing things I could even imagine lol I found it so fun that I got into mixology and started creating my own cocktails, and am even currently trying to get hired for another bartender job. All of this is to say, I appreciate a bartender roleplay from my favorite asmrtist!
@@crowsdagger5463 Sorry I'm 2 months late to answering this. For me, I didn't actually have prior experience. My bartending gig was at a movie theater, so it wasn't hard to get the job. So my advice to aspiring bartenders looking to get some experience on the job? Try applying at movie theaters or low traffic bars. The slower it is, the the easier it will be to learn as you work. Fwiw bartending is an easy enough job once you know what you're doing.
you remind me so much of this childhood game i played in y8 where ur a bartender and you have to create the perfect mix 🥺😭 edit: its called bartender - perfect drink 🤍
Something about the acoustics of the silence in your videos is great. Like there's a realistic background vibration behind it all, even when all's still, quiet. Immediately lulls.
This was so perfect for me, Lloyd. Right video at the right time. I was seriously, for various unstated reasons, wound up EXTREMELY TIGHTLY, but you slowly, methodically, and generously unwound me. This may be my new fav Lloydville video. The town is rapidly morphing into a Wayward Pines-type deal, in my head. I'm all-the-time trying to piece together various relationships within the town, as I watch. It's both relaxing and engrossing.
This roleplay is really entertaining! Nice one Lloyd😁 You stand above so many ASMR channels, and I also love the simple and elegant aesthetic of your videos. I'm glad to see content like this on RU-vid
Sir, I love your videos. The white noise, the speed of your voice, the fabric sounds. It gives me some early 2013 asmr vibes. Please keep ‘em coming! Congrats and thanks!
A wine, or even liquor store would be amazing as well. I am really into wine myself and I think you telling us about the wines and their origin’s and such would be amazing
Can't help but think of The Shining. "I like you, Lloyd. I always liked you. You were always the best of them. Best goddamned bartender from Timbuktu to Portland, Maine. Or Portland, Oregon for that matter."
The nostalgic old days. What a great idea and channel. The concept to see behind in time and think it was better, will not be better but if it had a style that we now recognize
Lloyd, I have a suggestion for a video: Customer Reverse Roleplay. You play a customer in Lloydville meeting one of the many Lloyds who tend the bars, serve candy, or what have you. Then we can see the whole truth: that Lloyds of Lloydville are receiving other Lloyds, who make their pilgrimage home to reconnect.
Hallo Hallo, Lloyd! I just found your channel from your Jurassic Park video and wanted to say thank you for your thoughtful backgrounds and amazing pace--so calming. Hope you're having a great day!
I think what go good would be a nice asmr whispered suit fitting to go to Lloyd’s bar. Love your stuff. Thank you for your time and hard work you put into these videos.
Lloydville reminds me of Willoughby from the Twilight Zone. You want to get off the train to visit, but you suspect from all the slow, quiet talking that there's more to it than meets the eye. :). (Wow, the towel running over the bar is sooooo relaxing!)
Thank you soo much my friend! There’s soo many videos where I wish I could have added some background sound effects or music but I get too worried it’ll take away from the asmr
Yesss Lloyd!!! :D I never clicked so fast on a video, i swear! I love the First vintage bar roleplay, and never imagined we will see a part two! Thank you :)
This is a great video, really relaxing for sure. Adding bottles of Malibu rum, Cointreau and Kahlúa to your collection wouldn’t have hurt the realism of it but still really good
Quick suggestion. The editing feature where you cut out background noises makes it actually harsher to listen to as the volume goes from talking to non and suddenly back to set volumes. The earlier videos of yours where easier to listen to.
After hearing the name of the town and bar i was hoping he was going to offer his specialty drink that he called "The Lloydinator" 😆 Absolutely love your role plays Lloyd.
a suggestion for future bartend vids would be incorporating stirred cocktails in an actual mixing glass. The sound of the mix along with visual ice swirl will go over very well I bet.
Have you ever thought about doing a Lloydville Tourist Information video for people new to the town. It could have video links in the description to all the shops and attractions. :)
The closest I’ve had to having any alcoholic beverages in my life has been those glass bottles of kombucha so I know nothing of what these drinks are like but I’ll just say the idea intrigues me for sure.
