I wish they would make a general grievous figure

Guessing this was an easy one since they already had his head sculpt, and the BD droid. Looks good. Hoping for Col Yularen on a proper Star Wars card soon. I'd buy 3 of them at least. Only ordered 1 of Cal.

This Cal has the best looking facial print so far. Love having his facial scars added to his face for this release. I’ll be swapping this head unto my JS Cal body. It’s great to get an alternate BD-1 you could add him to any world building set up or what have you.

The Cal Kestis Imperial disguise figure is awesome, and one of my favs so far! (friends and fam say I resemble Cal, so that has a lot to do with it 😂) I ordered three! One loose, one carded, and one to swap heads with the incoming male pilot from the X-Wing four pack. So when the E-Wing drops, “my figure” can pilot “my ship”. My longtime username will finally manifest in official Kenner form, and I’m psyched out of my mind!! (if only I could afford eleven more for a full “squadron” lol)

I really enjoyed Jedi Survivor and played through it 3-4 times. This outfit is from one mission about 3/4 through the game. I don’t remember BD-1 being disguised in that mission, at least not in this paint scheme. The droid is customizable with parts and paints you find throughout the game. Kal’s outfit is pretty close to the scene but I don’t know it the rank badge and cylinders are a perfect match. Since Kal’s lightsaber hilt and blade color are customizable it would have been nice if they had changed the blade color for this figure. He doesn’t wear an officer’s cap in the game so that part is accurate but it would have been a nice addition if they had included it. Oh and I understand not putting a hole on the belt for the saber because an imperial officer wearing a lightsaber would be very suspicious. I guess they included it in case you want him to hold the unlit saber. I’d trade that unlit saber accessory for the officers cap if given the option. I won’t be buying this figure because it isn’t essential to me but I’m glad it’s there for those of you who want it.

If you're going to make a new figure via kit-bash, this is the way to do it! I've played Jedi Survivor (excellent game) and there is one level where Cal has to infiltrate an ISB Base so he puts on an ISB uniform to get around. Without going into spoilers, it is a very important part of the game. The only thing I don't like about this figure is there's no place on the belt to put the unlit saber hilt. Why even have that accessory? Great review Tim!

just got this one today! it was the one out of the wave that i was most excited for. i was disappointed there waa no hole for the lightsaber hilt but it is what it is. this was one of my favorite parts of the game and i cant reccomend that u play it enough.

I'm not buying anything for the moment, but I'm thinking about getting those peg warmers Andor and Sarthe. Excellent review Bossk.

In the game, his holster is on his left hip and his saber rests at the back of his right hip.

I'd probably just display this one undercover in a group of officers. Not the most exciting for me but will probably end up with him if I have to buy the whole wave to get Kanan and Ezra.

Rando cal is cool and all but considering the wave and the upcoming ghost, agent kallus would have made more sense for the officer tool!

Looks like 6 squares on the tank badge. In the game it’s only 4 squares.

Do you think the Soft plastic cape the TBS series Cal kestis has (and is his main look from the first game) is why we don't have a version of him from the first game? I think its a real shame we don't have that first younger cal look in the line yet, just like Karga season 1.. some of these characters are massively needed!

I'm guessing this is a first time use of an Imperial they are going to make next. Veers maybe? What Imperial shares this torso? Is it the Thrawn torso?

I did, I think he’s a great figure but an unneeded one.

Shouldn’t the holster be on the left since he uses it with his left hand in game?

The torso is a reuse of Admiral Motti, and it's not actually correct to his appearance in the game. He's supposed to have a 2x2 rank badge and I believe the code cylinders are wrong too. Also he's way too short here compared to his previous figure. So with all these inaccuracies it's really weird that they chose this character for TVC - it's not like we haven't been crying out for half a dozen or more easy officer retools from the movies, and each of those would require far fewer accessories and paint apps as this figure. Just a weird choice all round. If he came with a cap I'd have probably grabbed one for a custom ISB officer but as it is this is very low priority for me

I have never played the two video game starring Cal Cestus. I have no attachment therefore I did not buy his action figures.

I'm sorry but such a waste I'd rather have had another imperial officer than this guy I've played the games and love them but I'd rather have the death star briefing crew
