Instagram - AdamTheWooATW A really fantastic tour walking some of the backlots of universal Hollywood. I do about one of these a year and it’s always slightly different but this may have been the best yet . Wish I could have gotten to courthouse square but even without that had a great day
The negative comments on this video are pathetic. If you're tired of watching the "same stuff" then unsubscribe and take your negativity somewhere else. It's not hard to click off a vid. A lot of us are here to enjoy the content and support Adam.
Appreciate you Adam. This was the best behind the scenes tour I have ever seen. Such amazing intel!! Thank you for always bringing us such incredibly cool content.
I have watched your vlogs every day for the past few months. Please never stop. You are a legend and an inspiration! I'm just a guy from Australia who can't see these places, so I watch you visit them!
AWESOME JOB on this one ADAM !! The Guide with the insane Mustache was COOL !! He gave so much Great Info !! I think we saw much more in this one than in some previous ones. THANK YOU !! 😊
@@traceytrotter9934 Years ago I had one almost as massive as his, but it got to be just to much work everyday. Now I have a beard that would let me be a member of ZZ Top.
Adam, Thank you sir for taking us along on your crazy adventures....I am cripple with a 12 yr old son. I can't do these things and while it breaks my heart and he would never say it matters I know it really does. We love to watch you because you are so detailed in your vlogs and we can pretend we are there with you. Please never stop. Some of us depend on you! God Bless my good friend!! I hope to see MANY MORE crazy Goonie adventures......
Love the set tours because it’s different facts and trivia ever single time, never the same guide that’s why if I lived there I’d do the tour frequently as well! Love Old Hollywood grew up watching the originals with my late dad, he’d loved these videos no doubt about it ❤
I have been involved in television broadcast since 1960. I worked on many, many shows, commercials, & specials. I am a member of IATSE (look for the little flower like symbol on all tje sets) and I always give credit to the GREAT set builders for our industry. I always say, dont believe what your eyes sees. I have worked in studios where the sets were flown up into top of the studio making space for another set. Lighting also flys up in the ceiling as well.
This was one of the better VIP tours and now it's going to be on my bucket list. Thank you. And now I understand better so apparently you put the Woo lf in Wolfman.⭐
What a fab tour guide!!! Loved this video and I was totally excited that i recognised the village from The Good place, I loved that series, also love the princess diaries movies ❤
I remember my first trip to Universal in 1983, when the tram stopped where Jurassic Park is now and we saw the Special Effects show, the Edith Head costume display and even the parting of the Red Sea! When we went through the Courthouse Square from Back to the Future, it was dressed for Gremlins, and covered with fake snow!
I did a vip tour a couple of weeks ago. Our tour guide Kyle was amazing. I knew going in that we probably weren’t going to Hill Valley or other cool spots but I’m overall happy with the experience and would do it again. During the strikes, the tour guides said that they used to go pretty much everywhere for the tours.
Great video. I like that no two tours are the same...I wonder if there is a way of finding out before you go if they are able to either go down Colonial Street or visit Courthouse Square? I'd love to have a photo taken outside of the Psycho house
If my memory serves me right. When I was a kid the tour stopped at the bungalows and we walked through one that was Lucille Ball’s. The walls were green to make her red hair stand out.
At 6:12 your guide Al has one of the best dapper mustache’s ever. Something for you to strive to do Adam at Dapper Day at Disney World, try to duplicate Al’s mustache.
Love the Backlot tours.. I always imagine Young Frankenstein being filmed there as well.. but it doesn’t seem to get mentioned, so prbly not. Movie Magic ❤️
@gc4644 he admits he does what he wants. He also knows his audience will watch and he will get paid. I believe this channel has jumped the shark for sure. So the term content creator should have a caveat nothing new most of the time . 😆
You and Nerdy Rayen really got the MOST excellent tour guide this time around! Albert (Al) AND his righteously epic mustache is such a fountain of information for the film geekdom. I loved it! There'll always be another shot at walking or driving through Hill Valley. Hope y'all're together when the tram turns right instead of going straight. ❤✌🌮
People are suggesting that your June 4 adventure was supposed to be some sort of friendship anniversary day with Daphne. I forgot about that. What day is it?
I have the worst luck to be honest when it comes to stopping there . Every time I’m in town there’s something else happening down there and can’t get to it
LOL I did The Universal VIP Tour on May the 4th. It was My Birthday slash Wedding Anniversary so our Tour guide set up for Us to walk around the courthouse and meet Doc bye the DeLorean. He asked Us how long we've been Married and then blessed Us with "That's the Power of Love" Great Day.
It’s like you go out of your way to not see the court yard First you went to technical rehearsal where they didn’t go, then you do the vip tour instead of the regular where you definitely would’ve seen it lol
I miss the backlot tour at MGM ( Hollywood studios). Coming from the UK I have only been to WDW but if ever got to the west coast this tour would be a must!
To all the bored haters: Have you been to USH? Going once isn't enough. If you see it in-person only once, you'll spend the rest of your life wanting to go back. Adam's going to where *he* feels happy. He doesn't have to bring us with him. Quit acting hostile just because you're stuck in Paducah and won't ever stand where Hitchcock walked.
That tour guide has got one heck of a mustache. Whenever I make it out to California for the first time I am going to have to have a lot of spending money in tow cause I am going to want to go on these tours.
Good video. One of Adam's better vblogs. Much better than showing broken down areas of towns IMHO. The tour guide Al was really good. Learned alot listening to him. Thx
Will we be lucky to see Daphne, this West Coast trip? Not sure if you two had a falling out, or your schedules just never come in sync. Do miss her giggles (which does irritate others).
That truck on the backlot needs to get his brakes looked at. I'd be scared driving something making noise like that. Lol. All those Potter kids. Lol. I enjoyed this. Thanks for showing us around. Take care.
I so agree, this was one of the best tours I have seen you on! I loved the architecture in the court of miracles and being a big fan of "The Good Place", really enjoyed seeing parts of that set again! I actually remember going through Lucy's bungalow in the late 60's and have seen so much transformation over the years and always love visiting being the movie buff I am.
