• THE VIRGIN BIRTH MYTH: Disproving a Classic Missionary Proof is a 2-Part Seminar with Rabbi Michael Skobac, Education Director, Jews for Judaism (Canada). Christian missionaries insist that the Bible contains numerous prophecies, which identify Jesus, as the Jewish Messiah. In this seminar, Rabbi Michael Skobac critically examines the missionaries’ popular claim that the prophet Isaiah predicted the Messiah would be born of a virgin.
• JEWS FOR JUDAISM counters Christian missionaries, like One for Israel Maoz messianic Jews for Jesus Jewish Voice I found shalom that target Jews, the impact of cults, eastern religions, assimilation & other challenges to Jewish continuity. We strengthen Jewish pride and identity and win back Jews who have been influenced by missionaries & cults. We offer FREE educational programs, materials & counseling that connect Jews to the spiritual depth, beauty, wisdom & truth of Judaism.

Each year 1,000 Christian missionary groups spend $Millions targeting Jews worldwide, presenting themselves as Jewish to entice Jews to convert. They present Christianity in the guise of Judaism by calling their clergy "rabbis" and their churches "messianic synagogues," refer to Jesus Christ as Yeshua HaMashiach, ישוע המשיח or ישו הנוצרי and the New Testament as the Brit HaChadasha, הברית החדשה and their Christian religion as Messianic Judaism or יהדות משיחית.
Calling themselves Jews for Jesus, Hebrew Christians, Messianic Jews, Messianic Jewish Christians or יהודים משיחיים, they celebrate Jewish holidays with a Christian interpretation. They hold Shabbat services, wear Jewish skullcaps & prayer shawls to create the impression that a Jew can be a Christian and still maintain their Jewish identity. Using Torah Scrolls, Shabbat candle lighting, Hamotzei & Kiddush they make unaffiliated Jews feel comfortable & welcome in their churches.

The first proof is a bit strange, because I think that was John's point. He was trying to show that Jesus was the Korban Pessah. That is probably why he alluded to that verse.

Does Rabbi Skovac specialise in Christian philosophy in relation to Judaism?? I seem to come across a lot of his videos and they seem to debate and drill down the Christian faith. and for what's worth, I enjoy listening to him and his point of view, quite refreshing. I am a Christian who admires this Rabbi greatly, I really do.

Thank you Rabbi Skobac. The myth of virgin birth has been exposed excellently. The story of J.C. seems to have a lot in common with Greek and Egyptian myths about their gods. Obviously, the writers of the Jesus story were devoid of ideas and copied the virgin birth myths of Greeks and Egyptians gods. They were, nevertheless, cunning enough to try to give their spurious messiah credibility by riding their so called "New Testament" storybook on the back of a book called the "Old Testament", which, in fact, is a distorted version of the Torah.

I would ask a question... Can a woman go in to a doctor today and have a fertilized egg placed in her womb, carry it to term and deliver a healthy baby without involving sex?

A Jewish theologian has a huge advantage over a Christian theologian namely the fact he is Jewish and understands much better how and what people believed back then

So if the messiah will be a descendant from Davd does that mean the blood line surpassed Joseph, Jesus' stepfather? If Jesus did in fact exist.

This is an interesting video, although my question is about time time 16:30 with the reference about Exodus 12:46. A common theme about Jesus in the Christian bible is the strong metaphor of Jesus symbolically being the Passover lamb. That is, Jesus is the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”. So therefore, instead of rather than ripping it out of context, based on this, why is it not a valid statement? Also, is not the changing ‘it’ to ‘him’ also consistent with this metaphor.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, you are mistaken. The Passover Lamb had nothing to do with forgiveness of sins. The tying of the lamb for four days prior to the lamb’s sacrifice and its slaughter were both a message to the Egyptians. (The ancient Egyptians worshipped lambs. Taking a lamb, the Egyptians' deity, into their homes for four days, with the intention of slaughtering and eating it, was an act that was sure to be noticed by the Egyptians. It was extremely likely that they would be infuriated by this disrespect of their god. This act of courage, standing up for their beliefs and following G d's command in the face of possible danger, was a merit for the Jews, one that made them worthy of being redeemed.) The blood of the Passover sacrifice sprinkled on the door-posts of the Israelites’ homes was to be a sign to God, when passing through the land to slay the first-born of the Egyptians that night, that he should pass by the houses of the Israelites (Exodus 12:1-28). Therefore, the common Christian saying that “Jesus was our Passover Lamb” is nonsense. It is based on a misunderstanding that the purpose of the Passover Lamb was forgiveness of sins. To understand more, please watch “JESUS WAS NOT OUR PASSOVER LAMB” ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fv9JRamAGIM.html And if you are still interested, then you may also enjoy “WHY JESUS DIDN’T HAVE TO DIE to Atone for Sins” ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jB7EZ5fgr4I.html

I've known foir years that Jesus is NOT the Messiah. But I read something kinda disturbing a few days ago... All Religions started out with Pagan Gods... Including the JEWS!! I was disappointed as I am in the middle of converting to Judism. Makes me question alot of issues. just saying.
