Ngl I’d be rooting for them if Starlight and other supes kids who didn’t deserve their fate did not exist Imo homelander deserves to die from something as mundane as a virus
In the comics, butcher did manage to wipe out most supes, including supes, in the boys group, but it wasn't a virus it was a frequency of some sort, I think
it was warheads that detects traces of V-compound in Supes, but it was insane idea because not only Supes has them, but most people in the world through interaction with Supes (if i remember it correctly)
They also have the single use V so you can only get a subscription to super powers. Needs some refinement, but it will just be another pill. Like 2 million a pop I think they said
I think something they are trying to say with this scene is: -Vought created and funded the Woods with the goal of them making a non-contagious, non-lethal virus to keep supes in check. -Indira wants to secretly give them a deadly contagious one instead, out of her desire for revenge against Homelander.
@@davidgibson3631I think butcher would go mad on it,kill homelander and kill himself Revenge mean Take a two grave one for you and one for enimes In other words butcher will go reckless on kill homelander now that is having 5 or 3 month of his brain cancer
i think the biggest concern is that it wont affect homelander, like it just isnt potent enough. Just like when MM threw that nerve gas at soldier boy and he just huffed it, the virus might only affect normal supes and homelander is literally the 1% of them
The reason why it's impossible is because Stormfront, Soldier Boy, and Homelander were injected with Dr. Vought's original formula of Compound V, which is much more sophisticated and refined than the mass production version the company has
You forgot about Frenchie ? You know he's also an expert in chemistry against supe so he's definitely gonna find a way to make it efficient, even against Homelander
I hope starlight doesn’t do something stupid in season 4, like going public about the virus and giving HL and a lot of other supes justification to start killing people and taking over…
Really I think another ending they'd be interesting is a contagious virus that makes people super, rather than purging people who are superbly able everyone becomes super sk that advantage is sliced, kinda like Syndrome's plan in Incredibles "If everyone is super no one will be"
@@wasylbasyl true true he was lab engineered to be the best, but then they could all jump him, he might be able to beat 1 supe but a whole gang of them could beat him, if Billy, Soldier, and Maeve came that close to killing him.
i dunno, seem like an double-edge knife if you aren't careful with it could easily infects the whole human populations if suddenly 1 supe with mutation & virus altercation stumble upon it - that is humanity isn't wiped out by rogue supes first
@@SentinelAerospaceOfficial aging is "health problems". the metabolism weakens, nutrients cannot normally enter the cells and from there diseases, plus the immune system weakens and because of this there are more cancer cells. It is also harder for the body to restore cells and create new ones. No matter how strong the Howlander is, he does not have super regeneration, cannot live as long as the soldier boy, and so on. These are diseases.
You're talking as if numerous supes aren't innocent human beings like you and me. Just because they have superpowers doesn't mean they're automatically the enemy. A lot of them are still babies. Completely innocent. Shetty is just evil. Just use the original strain that depowers them and spread that. Any strain higher is just to make supes suffer out of revenge.
Everyone commenting about billy butcher but what I'm curious about is Ashley. Is she going to use this to homelander since she knows about the woods. SInce this series is connected to the boys s4 is she using this to wipe out all heroes. If so let's go Ashley finally she's doing something.😃
From what the doctor said, they only wanted a non-lethal virus to control supes so she only knows about that. Shetty went off the plan when she wanted to make it lethal and contagious.
Hmm soldier boy would actually be a really good combatant to this disease since his radiation pulse as can purge the compound v from a sups bloodstream and in theory the virus
0:36 The Boys s4 ep 1 Maybe this virus don't work on Homelander and Ryan because they were natural born superhero. Home born from Soldier boy and Ryan born from Home. Soldier boy was injected with V. Home and Ryan were not injected with Compund V drug, they were naturally with power because their father's DNA had went through mutation
Here's my guess: Virus kills a bunch of supes, except Homelander because he's too "pure" or something, maybe it weakens him, Butcher takes V and kills Homelander, Butcher dies to either the virus or V overdose, everyone cries
Calling it now, Homelander won't be killed by this but will seriously hamper his powers. He will appear to be visibly sick on season 5 until he is finally killed by either the boys or Ryan. It would be neat if on the last scene of season 4 he goes into a coughing fit before collapsing.
Indira was right. She was basically female Butcher. Its a shame what happened to both of them. Mallory was a soft-hearted fool who thought it was a good idea to fight in a war with kid gloves.
You know, if the Boys are able to replicate the virus and also make a vaccine for people like Starlight and Ryan, I don’t see an issue with Billy releasing this into Vought Tower
I was doing some serious digging you guys and it even states in the boys wiki comics that the super virus is still not strong enough to kill even homelander.
If the virus goes airborne it will. But since Billy butcher doesn’t want to kill Ryan then he should train Ryan to kill homelander. Or they should just bring back soldier boy to finally finish off homelander once and for all!
@@toastlov3r375well that's true but how's that going to stop it from mutating. Viruses are know to mutate fast. And all they need is to reproduce to mutate and that's what they do when they make an organism sick.
@@vigneshkr7072 Mutation can only go so far, the basis of the virus is that it attatches to the compound This is like saying any virus in the world would be able to kill all of humanity with no resistance simply because it has the capability to mutate
This is why I would have wanted my powers to be along the lines of manipulation of my own dna. If I discovered a virus that could target the compound that gave me power was out there I would immediately begin to attempt to evolve the compound itself. Change it enough and it would be like a new version. Instead of bonding to and providing power to each cell I would alter the strain within myself to instead merge completely and evolve in doing so. Essentially every cell in my body would become a conglomerate between standard affected cells and the newly metamorphic cells. I would then further distance this by once again evolving the purpose of the newly merged cells. Eventually I would be a new creature having undergone cellular metamorphosis and the compound v that had altered me would have been used as fuel and burned up in the process. So Essentially instead of riding V like the rest of the supe do I would integrate it into myself and attempt forced evolution using the compound V as a catalyst that would be used up.
You wouldn't be able to do that. Too much computational power and energy requirements needed to change your molecular composition your brain wouldn't able to handle it.
Compound V is essentially forced evolution of cells. Accelerate metabolism by an amount just short of causing mass cell death and extending telomeres and so on would allow one to essentially gain an immortal life span and under go a forced evolution. The rapid mitosis or regeneration causing extreme heat and over powering the computation of the brain is irrelevant. The cell replication and growth in this series already works at a pace that would actually cause bodies to melt in real life. This means something in compound V already adjusts for that problem. compound V would have to be applied through different methods to different portions of the brain and at all ages. This would be to test spread, adaptation of the serum to the body and how it evolves over time vs how it effects adults already fully developed. The goal would be to gap in a mere decades the evolution our brains would go through in half a million years or more. Perfect dna reproduction is possible. Quite a few animals do it already and if they weren't taken out by predators or other circumstances would live for a very very very long time. So microbiology and evolution says you are wrong and the lore of the series already gaps the one irl issue that would prevent my idea from being possible.
It's V infused COVID or actually with all the boils on her skin we are looking at the boogyman itself smallpox specifically compound V enhanced small pox
Where and when is this scene? I can't remember it at all. I feel like I'm missing a whole episode even though I've actually seen all of them. For me, the virus was mentioned for the first time in the fifth episode.
It still inhuman just because some one has super powers they are treated differently but more then that inhumane, chaining them, beating them, I don't know how the show producers are trying to justify this. There is a reason why they will always feel discriminated and treated unequally in a negative or positive way.
@@Toasty4- after ww2 just read the US history what they were doing before ww2, regardless of that the are you trying to say that the show is calling USA for what they actually are. Because Homelander represent USA exactly one who only cares about fame and mean while covering up all it's crimes and point finger at other nation to make them look like villain and them self as heros and then Justifying killing them. Then show is on point
This isn't like race or gender. These people are a danger to themselves and everyone around them. Supes don't occur naturally there a mistake of humanity and if left unchecked they could be the end of it.
