I have got so much out of my Action 5 already, the battery life is also superb. imagine looks less "blown out" on the 5. Brill camera, Go-Pro should be shaking in their boots!
Great comparison, Peaky! Based on picture quality alone, I wouldn't say it's worth upgrading from the 4. But for me, there are a couple of features on the 5 that make it worthwhile. The first is being able to set it to never turn off, which is a big plus since the 4 can only go up to 30 minutes. The other is the improved battery life-when I compared them yesterday, the Action 5 still had 25% left when the 4 ran out. Hope you're feeling better, fella!
I'm no expert, but I think the 5 looks better, I'm watching it on my phone, so it's not easy to see. I dont have any camera's,so I can't say if its worth upgrading but it probably is for you vloggers. Take care, stay safe get well soon mate. 🏍👍👌
The 5 is definitely picking up more detail than the 4. Good comparison vid buddy. I hope you feel better soon. I have just got the 4 and already I love, just for the ease of mounting and dismounting alone as well as the wireless mic capabilities.
Action5 has a slight edge judging from the shots looking at clouds, far more definition in them, the shots in and out of shade they both respond at about the same rate to the light levels. Definition of the vegetation, buildings and other images seems to have slightly more sharpness on the Action5 but it is slight .... is it worth the upgrade? ... you kinda gotta ask yourself would anyone notice the change in quality? is it a £329 improvement?🤔🤔🤔
