Jona always for me is the most technical. I have seen the others singing live but jona is totally different. She delivered the right emotion and the right dynamics on a specific song. She dont do growl or runs if its not necessary to the song as she is more on to story telling to express.
First i saw mori i like her even jona but when i saw katrina Velarde i love her to much that’s why I’m crazy over her until this time...i make myself fan to her.🥰
Katrina's best when it comes to technicality,wistle with runs ,she is my best vocalist of her generation despite of lack of tv apperance she will blown you away of her melisma plus riff and runs that no other singers can do,i have so much respect for this so underappreciated talent that hope sooner she will be known not only in youtube but in international stage together with other known artist,thank ypu for your wonderful reaction ❤
Katrina - runs, longest note, effortless high notes (Best performance- Dont you worry ‘bout a thing. The best version ever. ) Jona- classical, technical, versatile. (Best performance- Queen of the Night. The most amazing performance ever.) Morissette- powerful belter, squick expert, master of whistle, story teller. (Best performance- Akin kana Lang, oh holy Night, Confident. The Most outstanding performance ever.) All of them are very good. But Morissette have this edge. Because of her star appeal.
IN ALL FACT that KATRINA is building her own bricks and blocks to build her own empire/castle coz no network is signing her here in the Philippines. In everyone's opinion, they see Kat as a threat to their talent they might be outshined by Kat. I have seen and read this a lot that baka masapawan ang talent ng abs Kaya di kinukuha si Kat. There was a company concert where both of Kat and Mori we're there to perform and all of the audience are waiting for Mori to make a show but unfortunately she was "effortlessly" outshined by Kat as if Kat owned the stage and the main guest or artist. And KATRINA VELARDE was the only artist that was given a full stadium standing ovation. To think that Mori's fans think that she is better than Kat but it was again proved LIVE to think that they are both tired, Kat performing tons of songs in Music Hall and her youtube channel which she was doing a one take cover sessions and Mori performing on TV and doing wish bus. I seriously wanna see them both do a vocal showdown on national TV no bias no expensive microphones no reverb no fancy apparatuses just pure talent that would be impeccable to see! They are both good but Katrina is way better than good 😊 no opinion is right and no opinion is wrong I was just stating facts. God Bless y'all

@@ForEighteen Nope. Pitch control is one of the most important aspects of singing to consider when evaluating a singer. I'm not saying a singer should always be on the pitch, but he/she should be when in good condition. Now, pitch control has something to do with healthy, sustainable breathing technique, relaxed vocal instrument, a good ear for music, and working muscle memory (meaning you can produce a note without hearing your voice nor having something to grab on to). The fact that a singer can't sustain a note (not just hit it temporally, but sustain it) means his/her technique isn't honed and thus not perfect.

To me, in my opinion, as my bias directs, as I personally prefer, while Katrina still has a few areas of improvement, she is the best singer(not vocalist) for me. Not talking about technique but her range is enough to sing ANY song. But what gives her the edge is her manipulation of runs, which ensures that she can sing really any song exactly as it is sung by the original singer without skipping any notes or changing it due to the complexity of the runs in it. Because of this, she does not need to alter the song too much or oversing to deliver the expected performance just like how the original singer does it and/or she can change it in a way that complements the song very well. That is all thank you. To each his own. That is my preference or opinion
Technicality-wise, Jona is the best vocalist. I can’t remember a performance of hers being flat or sharp. Jona also has the best low register, which still is Morisette’s and Katrina’s area of improvement. Jona can also go classical. Katrina, I agree, has the best runs. Her high notes are impeccable, too. They’re so impressive that she sustains them with vibrato. Katrina also has the most developed mid range, which I think listeners tend to ignore. Katrina’s voice is just consistently beautiful from beginning to end. If there’s anyone who come really close to the “perfect vocal ability” of Regine’s, that would be Katrina’s. Morissette has the most contemporary voice among the three of them. She also is the best stage performer not to mention that she can also dance. Hence, Morissette is the most bankable/popular. She has that x-factor of a pop star that’s not very present in Jona and Katrina. Hands-down she also has the best whistle register. However, because Morissette invests so much emotion when she sings, I find that sometimes her mid and lower notes (most especially) are not together. Jona, despite her great technique, I feel, is already past her marketable prime. I think she’s 30 now. I wish that her star potential was maximized when she started. She was only 16 when she won the Pinoy Pop Superstar grand prize, and 16 is the star-in-the-making age. Katrina, I wish, is given better and bigger exposure. While she’s amazing in her solo concerts, she seems not as amazing on national TV like ASAP and Showtime. You can sense the nerves in her voice. I love that Vocal Trinity tag. They remind me of Jaya, Lani and Regine during the SOP days. But if I were to add another vocal prowess of this younger generation, I want Charice.

Katrina maybe can sing highest note alot more than mori but mori can also go as low as hell more than katrina do. I can say its just a fair fight. They are both talented.

they are all amazing but morissette is another story.. she has the most adorable voice. a total package and the most confident & versatile performer nowadays.. and most of all, it would take a century to have another morissete in the planet..😁😁😁
No need to compare, they have their own strengths and weaknesses as singers. I do love Morissette, Jona, and Kat. For the fans of these three, stop trying to bring down any of them instead of embracing their individual vocal abilities. Lastly, stop commenting as if you really know how to sing.
No, Morissette can go high up as Katrina. the only difference is Morissette Has a Thick Voice So for some reasons her high notes sounds like more lower than katrina because her thick and rounded voice sometimes you cant recognize that "oh F5,G5" but they hit the same notes. while Katrina Sounds really high because of her metalic and thin voice when she goes Higher and higher. and for Whistle i think they are the same. katrina needs to improve a little bit more Mori- High Notes with Growls Kat - High notes with Runs Jona i think she's like Sohyang. or between mori and kat like you have said. for me Jone has tha cleanest voice i mean her soft voice is amazing.
@@benchayluster3195 actually it is. It is a whistle glide, and Mori have already hit notes between E7 & D8. F7 when she is vocalizing, A7 in ASF, and C8 in her concert with Lani. So basically, it's part of her vocal range. :-)) P.S. I hope you won't took offense with my reply. lovelots
