This is from a group of recordings we called "The Back Shed Tracks." This song was captured on a beat up old tape recorder I found sitting on a worktable. Sorry for the poor sound quality but I'm lucky enough to have even this!
This was the first time my brother, Mark Vogel, and I, Doctor Kazoo, ever captured our zany sound on tape! I've been very fortunate that he's allowed me to occasionally play along with him and add my own screwy inventiveness to his brilliant music. As with the bulk of the tunes we perform "E-Mail" is a Mark Vogel original!
Who the other people were playing with us has long escaped my memory and I didn't take names at the time. Anyone has any info they want to pass along I'll be sure it update the video description.
These tunes are rough and ragged but the spirit is pure and the joy is infectious!
