Bob always sang I was raucous in Secaucus on a Saturday night. Because of you. I was nervous in Port Jervis on a Saturday night. Because of you. Guy was amazing.
31 years ago... Bob was a master comedian using racism to embarrass mom and pop racist into pausing for a second to have a thought. Hopefully that thought didn't die of loneliness
Gosh, I listened to this guy when he was on WMCA. Mayor Lindsey, I believe was referred to as “The Tower of Jelly” ( may have been Mayor Beame), Koch was King Edward I. Very identifiable with New York.
Is there anyone who posts these old recordings of Bob that has not been severely cut and so severely pasted together? Can't I just hear a regular bob grant show?
Such innocent problems of that era compared to what we have today I wish Bob Grant was still alive and he could talk about what is happening to America right in front of our eyes.
