What a great song by an incredible vocal group. Born in the 50's I grew up listening to music like this. It doesn't get any better. Well done video too!!!
It's not creepy to me it's about loving someone and trying to tell her I'm 71 yo. Reminds me of a girl in High School I loved I should have told her turn around great song❤
I’ve always enjoyed this cut by the Vogues but my favorite was performed by the kid who wrote it when he was in high school and released it on his album. The late, great Glen Campbell. RIP Glen
I was in the navy and home on leave and meet my sister best girlfriend who was a a year older than me. She asked out for a date and we spent 2 weeks together before I had to be at my new station in San Diego. She flew out a month later and spent 2 weeks with me. A month later I got a dear John letter. If she would of waited I would’ve of married her after my discharge. She was a model but it didn’t happen,, broken heart !
A classic song I grew up on, but opening it with millennial's vaping and doing selfies really is a disgrace to memory of Glen Campbell,, who wrote and performed this floowed by The Vouges and later the Bee Gee's.
