Today on I Hear Voices, Will Friedle and Christy Carlson Romano share two MAJOR announcements that you don't want to miss! They also sit down with Fred Tatasciore at their very first LIVE I Hear Voices panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Fred is a LEGEND. He’s voiced Hulk,
Master Shifu, Yosemite Sam, Lieutenant Shaxs in Star Trek: Lower Decks, AAARRRGGHH!!!, Soldier 76 from Overwatch and Damon Baird in the Gears of War series. Will is STILL printing out his credits.
In this episode, Fred shares with Will, Christy, and our live audience how he got into voice acting and approached voicing his most iconic characters.
PLUS, we welcomed our audience to create voices for original characters fans of the show submitted!

FYI: Unfortunately, the YT channel isn't updated as well, everyone. Check out the show's podcast feed. Christy, uploading the episodes consistently (I know you're juggling a lot) would significantly help out with the success of your podcast and your future plans! But I know you already know that. Good work on what you two have done so far, y'all. (Edit: Oh, I guess the iHeartRadio partnership thing halted this? It would be great to let the listeners know!) I love the podcast you two (I listened to all of it), but my only criticism is that the episode length should really be longer! There's always so much more that needs to be covered in each episode, and as a result each episode often feels quite rushed and always wants me wanting more. It's great though!

The iHeartRadio partnership probably halted it, unfortunately. Not sure exactly why you still can't do video uploads though.. Transparency to the audience would help!

I hope they get Carlos Alazraqui in a future episode. Been a big fan of this side of the industry ever since I was a kid watching Toonami to catch Dragon Ball Z and Samurai Champloo.

I’m sort of an amateur voice actor myself although I don’t have a recording studio but my brother Darren does I would send audio text messages to my brother Kyle who lives in Michigan whether it’s Disney or Warner Bros or Nickelodeon or even Nintendo characters I have autism

It's disappointing to me that the iHeartMedia partnership basically means no more video uploads. It was one of the reasons I enjoyed the podcast to actually get to see these voice actors they're interviewing (which imo is one of the best parts of va interviewing) and the facial reactions to everything. The podcast is still good to listen to, but it just feels different.

@@PigDan My guess is iHeartRadio gets profit from podcast streams and not videos so they don't want to give people the option. It's probably not the best to say "Our wonderful podcast partner is forcing us to no longer have video uploads because it doesn't give them money"

Fred T seems like a great dude to hang out with. The guy is prolific in his career and yet still retains all of his excitement and wonder for his job. Who knew that it would be a Spongebob Squarepants appearance that was The Hulk's go to career highlights? Plus the announcement of the voice over artist talent search is so exciting! I'm wondering (and a little worried) it might be an iHeartMedia thing. I just find it a very big coincidence, they announce a partnership with iHeartMedia (the same company that does Will's BMW podcast which doesn't do video episodes) and then suddenly there's no video uploads on this podcast. I had only been following this podcast through RU-vid and just randomly realized I hadn't seen an upload in a while. Edit: Just checked the podcast Instagram..and they're even following Pod Meets World style of a couple of video highlight clips being posted.
