I am totally speechless. This is, by far, the best rendition I have ever heard of this song. It made me understand, feel and be aware of every word. They did not just sing it. They perfectly DELIVERED it. They are both so so good.
I liked the song choice. It showed another side to the lads that we hadn't seen before. I was surprised that no one stole caoin though, he was brilliant
So, I've not seen these before. Suddenly it came up on my main page and well...... No idea how old these videos are, what year was season 3?? These two lads are excellent even when they sing together there is a great unity. Wonderful and haunting song. However I would have chosen Caoin because he had a very unusual timbre and colour to his voice. Pity. I've always dreamed of going to Ireland and I love the Irish people, I've met many over my lifetime in different countries and those I've seen in films. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos. I am struck by one thing..... all the people I have seen on-stage and off-stage are beautiful. Are there no average looking Irish people? ;-)
Caoin has a good voice but if you listen to Kedar's voice he has more scale capability with his voice. I know everyone is saying he is "theatrical," but I see that as more possibilities and more range. When you think how many people that are currently top artist that were in Chorus or Theatre groups. Think about it.
Preferred the guy in green. He can definitely control his voice. While the other guy is good as well but he will have a good career in theatre. The guy in green was Sinton this on his full voice and you know that he can give more of the song requires it.
Just gutted that Caoin didn't get a song from Bressie that could show the soul in his voice. This was more like musical theatre, despite my affection for Kate Bush. So much for Bressie's promise in Caion's audition that he wouldn't spin him toward power ballads.
Are you fucking kidding me...? I thought Bressie knows what he is doing....but this proved me the contrary...Caoin should've go to the live shows...he' s so unique and much better than Kedar...I'm sorry for Caoin...all the best mate, you're amazing!
Adam Efimoff it's an incredible song. quite difficult to sing. if you dont know it look up kate bush's version. laura bunting from voice australia season one did a very good version for her blind audition. both r quirky. my only qualms was giving it to 2 guys. would have been better on the lives done by a girl. that said it was a lot better than i thought it would be. but would have gone w/ caoin.
Dreadful - Bressie has reputation for picking awful songs for his stable to sing - This only confirms it - song choice is not his thing - Caoin had a brilliant audition but this song killed him
