I have a theory is that joyboy was so powerful that he could control anything with his imagination because he has the gomu gomu no mi but the thing is he knew that he could imagin anything that he could then bring too reailty but luffy being luffy he still thinks he ate the gomu gomu no mi so he still thinks he can only do rubber powers making him too only make rubber moves

My theory is that the nika fruit is not the fruit of joyboy but the thoughts of joyboy just like how vegapunk explained devil fruits as the thoughts of the people and the fruit users live in a different world that someone once dream of.

one piece that explains void century binks no sake it is said in the song in the fourth vese second line "a salty spray put us to ease" maybe it is not referring to sake but instead the reason devil fruits cannot be used in ocean water is due to the water
