Great! .. Thank you very much for another awesome feature. Having the option for soft-edge adjustment would be very useful as an additional option in my opinion .. Keep up the great work .. Cheers
Love how the need to keep swapping between my other design software is becomimg less and less, masks, pen tool and vector eraser would certainly be a huge benefit, Love kittl for it's simplicity user friendly layout too, Awesome, thankyou!
Wish i had seen this earlier today. So glad its here now. Thank you. Can we now please have more than 12 ai image styles have to keep deleting and re-upoading image styles all the time.
Awesome! Love the new multiple artboards, too. Can y'all please find time to make it so you can apply the color palette function to a single artboard, rather than the entire project? That would be such a nice improvement 🙂 Thanks for all your hard work!
@@Kittldesign I've been with you all since almost the beginning in every single time we asked for something we get it honestly I started out with this because I just was just frustrated with Photoshop and I don't know I just after buying Photoshop and Photoshop for so many years and now they're doing like a subscription thing and I'm over that so I just wanted to try something else anyways so I tried this and I've been with you all for a very very long time and I love seeing every single time we ask for something you listen to us the one thing I would love is an app not a real complicated one but that one when we are out and about we can get an idea that strikes us and start working on it or something that we can just tweak a little bit and then go on our laptops later and complete.. Oh and to mask and to merge layers.. I mean we have the right now to group but if we had a way to merge the layers then we could do like all the other things to it like upscale and all that
@@jrl9319 Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions here! We are definitely looking forward to improving our current tool set, and moving toward adding more features in the near future!
@@Kittldesign yeah one more reason I love this company because I know that you take all the feedback in and listen to us and not just put something out there....
Preach!!!! YASSSS! I have been asking for this yayyyyy!!!! Woohoo... Kittl listens to us! Yayyyy!!!!😂🎉🎉🎉😮😅😅😊 I am so into it! Omg I can't even!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Duuuuude!
@Kittldesign been with you over a year now...I never thought I would replace photoshop and illustrator...but I find myself using kittl more than anything... The changes and growth in Kittl is mind boggling... The ease of use is fantastic
Nice! Next, can you guys do the item remover tool that automatically fills the background back into the hole? Also, regarding number of projects allowed per the subscription level, it would be great if a "project" could be more than one page or image. When I am working on coloring books, I have to take all my "projects" out to try to assemble a partial book in another app, which means I either have to have the screen split, which doesn't work well with Kittl on a small laptop screen (try it and you'll inderstand), or try to jump between screens on open apps. I also get frustrated with "running out" of projects because I have numerous different versions of the same images that I am still working on. The "upgrade now" prompt makes me cuss, and scold, and want to smack Kittl. Ugly, but true. Kittl is my absolute favorite tool, and I just hate having to exit to assemble a book or a t-shirt collection where continuity of design is critical. Whoever at Kittl reads this, please don't take this as Karen's Kittl review. This is just honest feedback. I am reluctant to upgrade because I still am paying for other subscriptions to compensate for the weak places in the app.
Hey there! A special spot replace feature will be worked on in the future. Re: Coloring book - we actually have a tutorial showing you exactly how you can create a full coloring book in Kittl and export them all as one whole PDF. With our endless canvas/multiple artboard tool, this is easily doable without needing any other tool, or without needing to export the sheets one at a time. We currently have a discount code linked in the description that will count for your first monthly or yearly subscription (where yearly would be the better deal/more off at one time). But that is available to you if you wish!
You can apply shadow to your object in the right side panel. Alternatively, you can add a basic shape and choose a linear gradient to crate a fake or smooth shadow.
@kittldesign I added an element from the Kittl elements and I clicked on it to find the eraser, however, I was surprised that it doesn’t have that feature. So is the eraser only available to AI generated objects? If so, this is a huge miss. Y’all need to make the eraser its own available tool so we can use it on anything. Pls, let me know if I’m missing something. Thanks.
Hey there! Currently the eraser tool works on images (rasterized objects), not on Vector objects. So if you generated an AI image in the Vector preset, it won't work just yet, but we are working on it!
@@Kittldesign yeah, it was a vector element. Okay, so y’all need to make the eraser a standalone tool, pls. That would make that feature next level. Thanks.
Hey there! The eraser currently only works for rasterized images (not vector elements), so if you are trying to erase from a shape or illustration that is vector, the eraser will not show. If you select an image, ai art, or raster element, you will see the eraser icon and will be able to erase from it.
I like the eraser tool for AI, however, when I erase an area you can see where you erased. The color is different and also when I upload to say printify or cricut, you can see that area that was erased.... so nothing you can do right? I was hoping to erase a part of an AI image I didn't like but you can clearly see where you did it so it will not work :(
Hey there! We have not found this to be the case, but that doesn't mean there isn't a bug we missed! If you could please reach out to chat support and send over some images so we can see exactly what you mean, that will help us figure out the issue.
Does this not work for AI vector creations? This is where I need it the most, yet it doesn't appear there. An epic fail and colossal letdown. The eraser would be useful for the AI vectors, not nearly as useful for more art oriented images (where it does appear). AI vector is where a ton of superfluous flourishes always appear around the edges, rendering the outputs useless. The eraser was to be the savior for this. BUT, it does not appear for vectors for some strange reason. Please consider adding this. It is largely why I find Kittl AI not very valuable (cannot get rid of all of the ancillary remnants added by AI).
you have some really good videos and a great design tool, but I am primarily interested in mockups at the moment and it sure would be nice if one of you companies used models that weren't woke Gen Z people - who are obviously not my target market. Just a suggestion :)
Hey there! We are working on making the eraser tool available for vector elements. But right now, it only works for images (rasterized pictures/jpeg/png) that are not vector.
