My submission for the Source Filmmaker 'The Walk Of Life' collaboration, and a quick breakdown of the process in making it. All the background elements like the helicopter, crocodile and lizard were animated by hand. I've been wanting to try a jungle render in Source 2 for a long time now, so this was a good opportunity to combine it with one of my favourite game series of all time - Metal Gear Solid! Overall this took about 15 hours of work.

I don't know if Harry himself will see this, but if anyone has the answer it would be welcome. Harry, have you ever submitted any animations to one of Clint's competitions over at Pwnisher? If not, you really should. You would wreck the competition. Not saying there aren't some absolutely stunning artists in the running, but I honestly think you would upstage even them.

It's actually a reference to Metal Gear Solid 3, which the animation is based off of. When you hit someone with a sleep dart in that game those Zs appear above their head and slowly disappear indicating how long it will be until they wake up.
