The extensive use of "you know" through the interview seemed unintentional at first until both of them started saying it consistently. It gives that idea that yes the event is nerve wrecking and mentally extensive, but the lying and guilt is hidden behind the yammering of each "y'know" Beautifully done
The stakes have risen. The switch up from found-footage to some really well composed shots of Steve and Alex communing was a real treat. I cannot wait to see more in Season 2.
@@EvelynGarcia-ff5kr You heard me. The Park Rangers after discovering the brutal routine of the creatures they decided to covering their tracks so no one in the public could expose them, which includes Dyier Corporation & Law Enforcement agencies.
@@Shadegaming354he died from a bear attack. we had a memorial for his tragic death. You must not talk about his death. You must not talk about his death. You must not talk about his death. You must not talk about his death.
The qr code takes you to a video about the woods family, several members all with their born and death dates and finally Abraham woods: Born: 1815 Died: Do with this what you will
Fellow rangers Park rangers Steve and Alex need your help!! Find The cypher to the code and expose the park!! Go to the Woodlands National Park website and try to find it
@@alieninahumanbody Indeed! Very much on the right track. I found it didn't show up on a phone, but I good ol' computer terminal should see you right 👍
the little puzzle with the qr codes and the cypher was so fun for me. I love it when these types of stories make you work to find out about the lore. Impeccable quality as always, great job!
For once again I have seen the godly people working at buddy films return from the depths of the internet and post yet another Woodland National Park Found footage video that people will love and cherish for yet another 9 months till they make their next banger 🔥
Haha 🔥thank you so much we really appreciate it hopefully the next episode doesn't take as long. The film set actually flooded so we had to redo everything 😂
Guys I found it and deciphered it!!!!! Using the old cypher code and the new pamphlet in the website, the words on the first photo spell “don’t trust Abraham” I think this proves that Abraham is still immortal and alive based on the logs of the Woods family which shows that he did not yet die, and that he is using the creatures to stop anyone from getting close to the tree which is why they are hostile now but used to be passive before.
There's something about this type of theme that I just love. I don't really know how to explain it, though. Whenever I try too, I just think of... cozy cabins in the middle of nowhere, where outside at night nightmarish beasts roam, except they can't get inside no matter what.
Like many I found this series from an Instagram reel. The journey so far has been incredible and I cannot applaud everyone who has helped put this together. One of the narrative choices that was both incredibly refreshing and impactful was the non-linear timelines. You really achieved in creating characters that we got to know, truly feared for them and empathised with their grief and turmoil. By bouncing between the past and present, swapping between media (audio recordings, found footage, presentation slides to name a few), creates this incredibly organic and active universe where you really can’t know what’s going to happen next. Going from just 2 rangers and their cameraman doing ‘lost media’ info videos, to found footage detailing the horrors the characters have to endure, and then rounding it out with a cinematographic conclusion for season 1, gives you the kind of whiplash you get from a roller coaster. So many twist and turns but exciting to be along for the ride. Combining elements from Marble Hornet’s, Blair Witch, SCP, and many other cryptid media is such a complex balancing act, as well as incorporating horror and mystery to create a compelling story. You have excelled in ‘show don’t tell’ with elements of the universe you’ve created slowly unfolding in a way that you would piece together a puzzle. Ironically similar to how the Rangers have to solve an incident in the park, us as viewers have to try and piece together the story with what evidence we have. One of the things I really enjoyed was choosing to have the characters completely aware of the cryptids existence, with the infomercials being comical while also creating such a sharp contrast to the violence and terror they cause. There is no mystery that they exist. It’s the bigger picture with a mysterious organisation and a strange tree in the woods. Once again thank you Buddy Films. All those shows on streaming platforms, but it is Woodlands National Park that has me excited for the next update!
Was not expecting the sudden shift!! This was brilliant!! Absolutely loved it!! I subscribed after watching one video, and I'm glad I did!!! Looking forward to season 2!! Keep the good work comin'!❤❤❤❤❤
Alex and Steve were smart here in the cover up in making it look like the camera man from the last episode killed his friends and not a 45 foot tall walker, probably destroyed the footage as well
Absolutely love seeing how everything is coming together, Love the cipher, and the production spike was so cool. cannot wait for season 2 after this awesome finale for season 1!!!
Theory time! The monsters/creatures we're most likely there protecting the tree so they probably killed the people because I remember that when they looked at the area where the monsters attacked, the people left the area the rangers told them to stay so they could've gotten too close to where the tree is. For example, when a Walker attacked the three guys and they clearly left the area or abandoned the trail they had to follow.
I've been watching analog horror for a long time and have gone through countless short films. This is incredible! Please don't stop what your doing! We the fans want more!!!
Love it! Great season finale, so glad there's more to come. Definitely one of the best analog horror series on RU-vid and we got some digital non-park tape footage in there as well...so stoked to see where this goes. Awesome work.
Aight so after watching this video I’m gonna be so hyped up for season 2 that I can’t sleep anymore. W producers W everything. Clearly one of the best series I have seen on RU-vid so far this should become a movie 🔥 KEEP IT UP!!!
Something I find enjoyable about this series, is how we have a pair of protagonists in the form of Alex and Steve. So alongside the horrors we get to see in the park, we also get to see the impact this place is having on their mental health. I look forward to see where this story goes from here, keep up the good work!
I just found this channel at 6am, now it's 7am and I am still watching. I don't like wathing movies or series, but THIS... this is really entretaining for me, so good job on making this, I really love it!
That infernal code! It's unlike any I've seen; it must have its own cipher somewhere. If only there was some other Buddy Films outlet we could search through to find some answers...
I came here after I saw emortalmarcus’s video I loveee this analog horror it’s so interested and crazy… I love every twist and moment it’s made so well… keep going I’m excited for another part.
