A lot of Alpha’s dialogue was stuff that was said to Carol. Please don’t be mad at me - Lizzie. The names she called her brainless clam empty headed slit stupid cooze those came from Ed. Everything works out the way it’s supposed to - Mika. Essentially Alpha in this episode is the personification of all of Carol’s self reproach. The setup with the walkers in the town it’s like a ride at anti-Disney world Instead of weird animatronic people it’s walkers. Well Beta’s stage name before the turn was Half Moon He’s wearing half of Alpha’s pale face with the darkened decayed face he’s been wearing for quite some time.

We finally got to find out who Beta was.... a famous country singer. Magna was actually listening to his record, I believe it was episode 5. Explains why people recognized his voice and why he wouldn't let Alpha sing when they met. It was a part of his life he didn't want to remember, but it was cool for him to play his own record to draw in all the walkers.

Back in Season 10 Episode 5 When Magna and Yumiko are talking you can hear them listening to Beta sing his song which is actually (Beth) Emily Kinney’s real life song called The turtle and the monkey.

Fun Fact: When they made the skin mask for Negan Jeffrey Dean Morgan had them use Norman Reedus face but with a Joker smile So when Daryl is carrying Negan’s mask in this episode it’s really a distorted image of his own face that he’s looking at Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy.

Just remembered remember when Rick and Carol went scavenging back in Season 4 they met Sam and his lady He had dislocated his shoulder and Carol fixed it for him Ed had dislocated Carol’s before so she just dislocated it again to get free from the walker Wow my brain is in overlord Great reactions as always Storm Mom And Kimmy.

I’ve always had a feeling that Beta would become unhinged if Alpha died because in a way she kept him in check Every time he wanted to kill someone or etc she held him back and said no now that she’s gone there’s nothing to hold him down anymore.

What Carol wanted was to die.... but she couldn't until she knew Alpha was dead.... but when push came to shove she realized she wanted to live. Her saying 'it's never too late' is her realizing that she can still fix things, including herself.
