so sad no one really remembers beatrice.. we actually have seen her a lot. she killed arat along with cindy for what simon’s saviors did to oceanside.. phenomenal acting in that scene!! she also saves daryl and aaron’s asses when aaron gets that log slammed down on his arm with that arrow shot! one of oceanside’s strongest characters from the beginning getting knocked out by tara in her first appearance there! then trying to kill her multiple times after! her reaction to the viewers watching her be killed was also very funny if you’re interested, sky bound has a video of the cast reacting to viewers reacting to this episode! :) (long rant but the actress deserves a lot more credit than she’s given for this role imo)

Beta was a country singer called "Half-Moon." They showed it in 10x14.

You probably know by now that this episode was filmed before Covid. But it was still being edited when the lockdown happened, so they couldn't finish editing it for a while. Because of Covid restrictions, they weren't able to film the bigger episodes (with more people) that their scripts for Season 11 required. So instead, AMC announced an extended Season 10 with the six bonus episodes (probably because they would be covered by the contracts and filming insurance they already had for Season 10). Plus, these episodes were written with Covid in mind and featured a much smaller cast than Season 11 would have needed. Basically, AMC didn't want to go a year and a half without any new Walking Dead episodes (except for 10x16, which they finally aired in October). So that's why we got the bonus episodes. It also gave them a chance to figure out a filming process that would keep the cast and crew as safe as possible. It was essentially a "test run" for Season 11 filming.

Great episode huh? Gosh Ive missed Maggie. Thank God she's back. Same goes for Connie. I laughed when Lia called out for anyone to come help Connie and freaking Virgil shows up lol. As for Beta, if you look back that makes two people (Negan and a Whisperer) who've recognized him. The Whisperer recognized his voice and Negan recognized his face. Beta went back to this nearby town in the "Look at the Flowers" episode that was once home for him. On the wall it showed a flyer of who he was once. He was a country music singer known as Half Moon. Oh sweet goodness, you guys are this close to being all caught up! Bring on Season 11 😎

Maggie is only back because the show she left TWD for got cancelled. 😂 Lydia was wearing her mother's mask. Beta had part of her face in his mask, but her mask was made from someone else's face. Not sure if you picked up on it during the episode they revealed it, but Beta was a famous country singer. That was his apartment when he smashed the guitar and his album he played for the horde.

The bonus episodes are actually important for Season 11. I didn't enjoy all of them but I now see how they were needed to explain parts of the next season. It also helped with the long break after Season 10 Episode 15. The quarantine did make the bonus episodes very limited. You probably have seen all of them by now. Looking forward to those episodes and the beginning of Season 11.

daryl was right when telling negan hes got to put his ass on the line. he killed alpha. he put his ass on the line to do that. but he has to keep doing that. it doesnt stop at the 1 good thing. if he really wants to be apart of the group then he has to continue to do it just like everyone else.

Sure there wasn't a big fight like there was in the comic book but I actually really prefer beta's death in the show.

They actually made these 6 extra bonus episodes beacuse first this episode got delayed 6 months and season 11 delayed by almost a year , so since there was no walking dead content, they made 6 extra bonus episode which bridge the gap between season 11 and 10

Keep in mind...Daryl is the Only one still alive ...that really knows what Carol has lived through....he will Always have a soft spot for her...I love them too lol

I hope this commonwealth arc ends up being amazing because in the comics it was lackluster and everyone felt like the whisperers were written out of the story far too quickly for no reason other than to end the series. While they did a much better job on the show I'm still left feeling like Beta should've ended up being the actual main villain extending the story further but there's still 16+ episodes left so I'm still excited. Those covid episodes I cut them some slack for obvious reasons.

I think they did 5 or so more episodes with less people in each episode to film in peak covid I guess you could say. They did that cause season 11 needed more people in it to tell the story so they did those extra episodes so people wouldn't have to wait as long for new episodes

The filming for this episode was before Covid. But it was released 6 months after episode 15 because Covid delayed CGI and stuff. The next 6 episodes which you’ve already seen were filmed during covid as extra episodes hence the low budget and for the most part, the slow story telling. As well as 20 and 21 which were bad lol.
