They tried both of those, I believe Vince says, "He must've left the key up front." And there's an option to shoot the chain, it sparks but doesn't dent.

jpkurihara The person playing this shows us what happens if you don't react fast enough or don't do anything when you have to, and its a timed life or death situation. The reason why Dee killed Bonnie is because the player didn't react fast enough to defend, so Dee killed her under suspicion that Bonnie was one of the people hunting her in the corn field (this group turned out to be Shel's people; you just have to listen closely for that stories dialouge to catch it).

Hey spottingames you forgot a death scene on vince's story, it's when you talk to the 2 guys and make a decision on which one's foot youre gonna shoot off. You have to point the target at them back and forth, then the zombies will break down the door and kill them.

It's an Easter Egg to show the players that the stories are intertwined. Whoever's foot you shoot off is the walker crawling on the ground. If you didn't play Vince's story before Russell, you will only a see a random walker on the ground.
