This episode (7×1) literally broke my heart. I didnt watch TWD again for probably a year or two. I finally got over it and caught up on all the seasons. Glenn, to me, was the heart of the show so it was rough. However, Steven Yeun has gone on to win an Emmy and nominated for another. Great actor!! You should watch "Beef". Its so good. He won the Emmy for that show.

Comic Comparisons : In the comics King Ezekiel isn’t introduced until a bit later. The conversation between Ezekiel and Carol happens between Ezekiel and Michonne in the comics Carol is long dead at this point in the comics as well as Morgan which makes this path completely unique to the show.

Abraham in the comics has Denise’s death, and Glen was the only death by Negan in the lineup

You took this episode really well! I was devastated when i watched in real time… even had to call out of work the next day.

I like that the show mostly does its own thing while not straying *too* far, but it also stays true to some of the most iconic comic storylines. I knew Glenn's death was coming...but it still hurt. I hated to see Abraham go, too. Great reaction 🖤

A main point of TWD was always that no one is safe. Ppl that stopped watching bc of Glenn missed out. They shouldn't have started watching a show abt a zombie apocalypse in the first place.

Sometimes they gotta remind you that this was based on a comic book... I love King Ezekiel. haha

Comic Comparisons: In the comics Glenn is the only death The RV trip with Rick and the threat of having Rick cut off Carl’s arm doesn’t happen in the comics Negan kills Glenn and then walks off in the same way he does here Ta ta Line for line the Lucille moment was the same Taking it like a champ Lucille is a vampire bat I just hit you so goddamn hard your eyeball just popped out And it is gross as shit Negan’s time has only just begun. Fun Fact: The title for this episode is the same thing Jenner told him at the CDC back on the Season 1 finale when Rick told him he was grateful that Jenner was letting them go That day has come now.

Benjamin's little brother is Sophia's (Carol's daughter) brother in real life.

Rewatch the scene with Abraham. He purposely put his body towards Negan to be chosen. Right before he dies he throws the little deuces ✌🏻to Sasha. The man actually played Negan into choosing him.

I thought the episode focusing on The Kingdom was just a really good antidote to the most brutal episode ever. I knew Showdown would love King Ezekeal. I was waiting for that laugh 😂 As for the searing desolation of the previous episode man that was a tough watch. Will Maggie blame Daryl, will Daryl cope with his role in Glenn's death? Can Rick ever regain his authority with his group? Negan is a chilling, ruthless character. Will be great to get to know him. Anyway fantastic reaction as always Dude! Cheers buddy.

Awesome reaction my brother and it's sad how people you love can be just taken away from you just like, this episode really captures that tragedy they were all together at Alexandria being together and then the next day they've lost two of their own.

As a reader of the comics before this aired, I knew Glen was going to die here and wasn’t as pissed off as some people got… but it didn’t make it any less heartbreaking. Great reaction my brother and you look great in purple 🥰

This episode was so disturbing to me the first time I saw it. Rick reminds me so much of my dad and seeing him so broken was something I wasn’t ready for. I absolutely love your reactions man! I hope you’re treated right, you’re doing great stuff here.

People may hate negan for his actions but remember they are in a zombie apocalypse and you have to do what you have to do to survive unfortunately sometimes you have to do the unthinkable

A lot of people stopped watching after episode 1! I really don’t understand why, I know it was awful but how could you just give up after all that 🤷🏽‍♀️ I loved Glenn and Abraham but even if it was my favourite Daryl that died I still would have carried on watching! Especially because episode 2 is such a different vibe. Never thought I would see a King or a tiger in TWD! 👑🐅 And I can’t help it I find Negan really funny 😅 Trust me when I say there is amazing stuff still to come! Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 This episode was definitely gut wrenching, it does not matter how many times I watch this, I still cry, 😪 Steven Yuen and Micheal Cudlitz did such an amazing job with their performances in bringing Glenn and Abraham to life so completely, 🙂 RIP Abraham and Glenn, 😪😪 That luncheon shot was so sad to see, I have bought the Series on DVDs, so I watch the behind the scene stuff, deleted scenes, etc, one of the deleted scenes from this episode showed a longer clip of everyone coming together for the luncheon, I of course cried again because it showed Sasha pregnant as well as Glenn & Maggie’s boy at the toddlerish stage, so sad, 😪 Loved King Ezekiel and everyone needs a Jerry, 👍😀 Soooo, just in case you are interested there is a video of Adam Minarovich, who in S1, played Ed Pelletier (Carol’s husband), did a reaction to Glenn’s death, it is hilarious, I would love to see you react to it if you get the time, 👍😀👍 Have a safe and wonderful week, 👋😀👋

I had to stop watching for a long time after this episode, it broke me. I did return to it but my heart wasn't in it anymore, some wounds never heal.

To this day, Mama Shra hates Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the Negan character... She will not watch anything with Jeffrey Dean Morgan in it 😋😁🤣🤣🍻
