Father Gabriel is turning into one of the most interesting characters on this show. He has gone from a coward to the beginnings of a bad ass, someone who mistrusted and thought Rick's group was evil to one of the most loyal members of that group. He does this all while balancing his love of God with the harsh reality of this world. He sees his loyalty to this group as a sort of holy crusade to redeem himself of the sins of abandoning the members of his church. The scene towards the end when he thanks God and says I can see again is a realization that God has forgiven him.

The cut on his neck will heal. You can survive a slash to the throat as long as the jugular isn't cut. If you've ever cut your neck shaving, you'll notice it bleeds A LOT. Negan's cut is deeper than a shave cut but not deep enough to kill quickly. Had Rick just left him though, Negan would have slowly bled out.

Rick didn't slit his throat all the way. He just kind of nicked it a little bit. That scene was taken from the comic books actually so was the guns backfiring but I think it happened to Rick's team instead of negan's team in the comics.

This is how I think the Maggie/Jesus/Daryl thing is going to go down: I don't think they're plotting to kill Rick and Michonne; after all they've been through, I don't think they could bring themselves to do that. I think they're going to wait, make Rick believe they're OK with his decision then, either make it possible for Negan to escape or they'll kidnap him and take him somewhere. They'll Lucille a couple of people, probably transplanted Saviors, then Maggie will use this to challenge Rick's leadership. They'll go hunting for Negan and if they let Negan escape, Daryl will track him and if they kidnapped him, they'll just bring him back to Hilltop. Negan will try to convince everyone he was set up which will lead to the communities being divided. That's when the Whisperers will come on the scene and everyone, including Negan, will have to join together to fight them. This plot would also be flexible enough to go either way with Maggie's survival. Hopefully, AMC will come to their senses and meet Lauren Conrad's contract demands but if they don't, they can use this to kill off Maggie.
Ricks decision about not killing Negan was the right one and everyone realized that when Negan asked Maggie to kill him in that cell so he could be with his wife that was Negan at his lowest a proper broken man and the state he was in was way worse than death
Yes, you can survive having your throat slit (Or nicked to be more specific, as in this case). It works just like any other cut (If it’s a clean cut that is), but you would need immediate attention before you bleed out.

Just to let you know it's very harder than you think to cut someone's throat there's a lot thicker of tissue that you have to go through and you have to cut the jugular the first attempt so if it's just an inch deep you're okay

If not, I think Season 1 of Attack on Titan is on Netflix. But it is the subtitles version. They have a non subtitled English dub too.

Blair it's definitely not the end of the show there is so much more to come. We have a bigger and better bunch of bad guys coming. They probably even showed him during the season 8 finale. I think that heard was them or some of them should I say. Just look up the group The Whispers from The Walking Dead and you'll see what I'm talking about.
