The very idea that they died hurts but I could never watch it but you are right at least Abraham knew it was coming, why of all the people did he chose him,do you know? (if you are still around seeing this was a year ago)
Cheryl Crowe because he was the biggest strongest , bravest and thats how you break someone’s group or team whatever the case may be , you take out the biggest and baddest in a brutal defenseless fashion in order to break spirits in hopes of fear mongering them into never resisting or forming a militia which ultimately did happen but this was a great tactic by negan and would’ve worked had he met the group before the claimers & terminus or after The farm , i mean rick was someone who bit a mans throat out and mutilated a man in a church😂😂and in season 2 he wouldnt even give up the search for sophia out of guilt, yet he was broken to the point of snot bubbles by this tactic
I started watching again after the deaths,my favorite part was when he cut the bastards throat and my least favorite part is when he said "Save him" After all the things I have heard about Rick's death I will not be watching it.
David Vuong yes , that random choosing wasn’t random . Negan wanted him out . That’s why he paused at “ you are “ and went straight to Abraham and said it
did anyone see Abraham throw up the peace sign before he got hit? Him & Sasha would always throw up the peace sign before they left each other throughout the series
Being in the middle of all out war and looking back at this scene, Abraham was the major loss of the group. Despite how much I love Glenn, Abraham knew war strategy and how to fight. Even Rick said something about that in the comics.
Why would you watch it more than once, lol are you sadistic....I would never watch it..too sad and gory.@ rewile- and no matter how many times I see this comment,it doesn't get any smarter.
This scene is so shocking to me, I feel sick and sad and horrified like all at the same time, the suspense was incredible , more then any movie in years
What freaks me out the most about this is the way he killed Glenn. Gave him a smack that would have probably left him permanently disabled even with modern medicine, and just let him sit there and suffer for a bit while talking shit. Now that’s brutal.
@@Itsjp0613 yeah Abraham definitely took a hard hit but he could have made a full recovery if he didn't get hit again. He got a coherent sentence out and his head was intact. Meanwhile Glenn was barely able to speak and as Negan said, his eye popped out of his skull. Glenn probably would have died later from his injuries even if Negan didn't finish the job.
He was the saddest when beth died no doubt, but this was a close second, mainly cos of the fact that he had been with Glenn since the beginning and cos he had caused his death.
this scene contains one of the most retarded Daryl Dixon moments in the show, as much as I love Daryl he, out of everyone, should have been able to control his feelings and not rbeak out punching Negan
when i first saw this i'd agree with you. but after going and watching the early season i'd say noah's death is way more traumatic just by pure gore and visuals. not saying these two weren't horribly traumatic.
Noo!!! Hershel! When the gov killed Hershel I jumped up and yelled out cursing, slung the remote control across the room, and had to walk outside and chain smoke a couple cigarettes... I was PISSED!!! I loved that old dude! In all the years since I never really completely found a replacement "favorite character"
“Nah! Get over it! It’s in the past! Besides, nobody is innocent in this series!” That what Negan fans are saying in order to justify his sadistic tyrannical manipulative actions. 🤦🏻
@@thegamingcook785 That is correct. The only reason people consider Negan evil here is because they are emotionally attached to the characters. And it's hard to watch of your favorite characters die.
How any of the cast didn’t win an award for this episode is beyond me. This is one of the most emotional episodes of the whole show and everyone absolutely delivered. Everyone’s reaction (especially Andy’s) was heartbreaking.
That was relatively quick & painless. Not bad at all. Now imagine starvation. If you still had water but had to feel your body eat itself over the course of a week or two. Just psychologically what that would do would be ridiculous. Or being buried alive with an air tube. So you ain't suffocating but can't even sit up- alone in the darkness. Or that chick who got lost in the Paris catacombs. Read the story of Junko Furuta. Or check into scaphism. Being hit with a bat sounds like paradise compared to other possibilities.
Yeah this is still the most wildest, gut wrenching, intense as hell scene I've ever witnessed in any TV show... Still can't believe how straight out of the comics this was...
When Abe throws the peace sign at 0:12 the very next shot we see Sasha crying and immediately her eyes go downwards slightly and that’s when she lets out the sudden Gasp at 0:16 knowing that was Abes way of saying goodbye.
If Shane was around the group would've never made it longer than Woodbury Legit if he did that whole *"IF YOU WANNA SURVIVE YOU GOTTA FIGHT FOR IT RIGHT NOW"* shit that he did with the barn full of walkers he would've ended up leading everyone to attack the Governor and get themselves killed
Same!! When I saw this for the first time I wanted him to die so badly. Now I’m waiting for the parts he shows , I love him. This show makes me feel fucked up haha
He was always my favorite. I would feel so bad for him after he tried to change and make up for what he did, and they all just continued to hate him. Then I come back and watch this scene... and I'm like yeah.... I can see why it would be hard for them to forgive him lol
@anothergamingchannel2656 facts negan became a favorite of mine yes he can never be forgiven because of what he did but he made up his sons and realized he got broken after the war even negan said as a redeemed character he can never be forgiven even can't forgive himself of all the harm that he caused
+Moon Man Agreed. The one thing people underestimate about negan, is his intelligence. He is FAR more intelligent, than people think he is. And he also proved time and time again, that he's is a formidable opponent of Rick, and a powerful force to be reckon with.
He took out the two men who challenged him. Abraham have Negan the death glare and Glenn tried to rush him. Daryl meanwhile was so defiant Negan took him away
2 men for the price of Rick's group killing over a 100 in theyre sleep? Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Negan showed absolute mercy. Just because we are so invested in this group and have only seen they're perspective. We consider them the "hero's". From a more unbiased perspective, this was a good demonstration of mercy. Especially considering Negan's initial plan was to only kill Abe.
I miss them so much. They changed the show in a good way. Abraham saved alot of people. Glenn saved rick in the first season and he had a son and a wife. May they rest in peace. We love you glenn and abarham❤😔🙏
Abrahams expression made me sad 😞, the actor did really good. It was a face of farewell friends but willingly taking one for the team. the way how he held himself up, made me hold my tears because one hit does impact fear in his heart for his friends. indeed he died with no fear
You too? Me as well, man if they had done this full scene it would have been lit...but then that means someone else would have had to take an L... oh boy
@@drelude3387 And how often did Rick show Glenn that he was gratful, except keeping him out out of important decisions that ever happened, Treating him like nothing more than his lab dog, and Leaving his murderer alive
@@ItsBeezy777 No, as far as im concerned Rick see's Daryl more as his best friend than he's ever seen Glenn as anything He cared about Glenn sure but that's no excuse to pick someone who tried to kill u over someone who saved u
Fatal flaw of your statement: He has a 9 and a 14 year old son, two sons, no daughters. How tf is he going to have future daughters boyfriends to deal with when he has no daughters unless he has them now and is in his 80's by the time they're of age?
@@haneensamir4234 maybe he doesn’t know because his daughter’s name is George 🤣 I think it’s kinda unique to call a girl with a boy’s name, loved it tho
Glenn and Abraham both challenged him in a way so he took them out. And Daryl was so defiant that he kidnapped him and hoped to make him a loyal follwer
The Gang definitely. I’m not defending his actions here I’m simply saying that negan knew exactly what buttons to push and was actually pretty clever when it came to this kinda.. stuff
This was (if not one of) the most powerless Rick ever felt in the show. He and his group were like an unstoppable force but when they met Negan and the Saviors, it showed what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
I almost had a panic attack when I first saw this scene, watching two characters I both heavily admired just get brutally killed like that was just the most terrifying thing and also very sad and tragic thing I’ve seen in film media in the past 20 years. The suspense is developed so great when we first meet Negan. It all pays off too and leaves us feeling so shocked
Negan was friggin terrifying. When i first watched this episode my heart was pounding the whole time. Seeing rick completely broken and at no mercy while unable to protect his people was rough
He loved her so much that his last words were he would find her......I want a love like Glenn and Maggie. True love. Star Struck Lovers. In this life or the next he'd find her!
i think the writters had him say that because originally maggie was suppose to die instead of abraham but then they switched it up but if it went that way then glenn would be referecing to seeing her in heaven
Now that I look back at this, Daryl punching Negan which lead to Glenn’s death is almost like Star Lord punching Thanos which lead to the Avengers losing their grip on him and then he eventually becomes victorious. Much different and bigger result in Infinity War but somewhat the same scenario.
@@Zodroo_Tint it was one of the best episodes of the show. This has always been a character driven show and its good to see how people develop and adapt to the new world order.
@@JoSheperd Yea, Rick and the gang unjustly killed a whole crew of Negan's men. Negan could have justly taken the lives of all of Rick and the gang and he only took a few here.
@@CleanWithConfidence Yeah well he took the ones that had nothing to do with it and he bashed their fucking brains in infront of their friends and partners while laughing and making jokes
I love how the entire time you can see Negan looking for the biggest threat and when he realises Abraham is the biggest threat to his mission, he looks for the moral compass of the group that keeps it together in case he needs to kill another person, and he does when Daryl goes against orders
I never watched it....I was watching another video and it almost caught me ,I pressed pause very quick as there is no way that I could watch something like that...how could anyone? I was told it was a gruesome death.
I just binged watched the whole series in the last few months and after this part I literally watched the rest just to see neegan get what was coming to him but I must say it was great to really see him redeem himself to the point that I strangely started rooting for him and became concerned for his well being
He got hit repeatedly after the first one if you haven't noticed, while Negan only hit glenn 2 times then backed away, unlike with Abraham. Plus since Abe was bigger and much stronger than Glenn, Negan probably hit him much stronger especially since he saw him rise back after the first hit.
Where was Quicksilver when you needed him, he could saved Abraham before he got lucilled, then he goes saves everybody else then make a fool out of the saviors.
Rick and crew had always emerged as top dog. The farm, prison, the Governor, etc. Anywhere they went, they took charge and showed that they knew how to "deal with problems". Rick always became the authority figure and made all of the decisions. That is, until this night. Imagine being in top, over and over. Then suddenly, you are on your knees watching your closest friends/family getting beat to death with a bat. This was the most damaging thing psychologicly that they would ever deal with.
Karl Lin if you want a proper reminder you should search for the scene when Rick & co slaughtered about 50 Saviors. Depends on perspective- negan was bad but he was the most normal/ sane out of all protagonists we’ve had and it makes sense he would find redemption when he realises what he did wasn’t right or worth it in the end. Why is liking him a bad thing for you?
As much as I love glenn, Abraham’s death also had a huge impact on the group and I feel like it was also a turning point for Sasha, Rosita and Eugene, specifically Eugene because he probably wouldn’t have turned to Negan if Abraham was still alive.
Really surprised no one killed Negan for the entire run from this point on. Glenn was an OG. He was close to every single one of the original group. Negan had his redemptive moments… but I don’t know how anyone ever let this slide and kill him eventually.
