@@lewis0705 She really doesn't. People who know they are evil don't try to justify their acts they just accept it. Alpha's ideology is fucked up but its clear she believes its the way they have to live now. To her the communities are delusional. Just people clinging to a fantasy of what the world was before instead of changing with the world. Its also easy to understand why she views attachment and emotion as weakness.

In my experience most people don't think of themselves as good or bad, but Alpha is doing what she believes she has to even if she doesn't believe its right. Hell for all we know she does believe its right. She believes it strongly enough to send her daughter away and eventually tries to kill her despite very clearly caring about her.

Just for confirmation, the voice on the radio was a female saying "Is anybody out there?" Haven't seen the reaction yet but just in case you guys didn't pick up on it! Overall really cool finale, I'm glad we finally saw winter time, in TWD universe. Obviously budgetary purposes were why it took so long, but they did just an incredible job with it. I loved how it really represents the storm going on inside of all of our characters post pike scene. The finale isn't exactly the most intense episode, but it does such a wonderful job with wrapping up the season, yet teasing new things to come. Also pretty sure Carol divorcing Ezekiel is the saddest breakup on this show. After Henry's death she recognizes that everything she had at the Kingdom was "a fairytale" and that Henry's death is a wakeup call. She cant keep living like that cause in her mind it's all fake. Poor Zeke can't catch a friggin break.

First of all I'm sending love and prayers to Lacey! Hope you feel better soon!❤🙏 This episode was all about human emotion and how they deal with it individually. How that affects them as family and community. What bonds strengthen and what bonds break. One of my favorite bonds is Carol and Daryl! From the beginning they have been each others rock! Negan totally redeemed himself by saving Judith! In my opinion🤔. Loved the snowball fight! One of the reasons I'm obsessed is seeing family scenes. How hard it would be to build family in an apocalypse and keep it strong. Human emotion is a beautiful thing!

This episode's the closest the show's ever had to a Christmas Special, especially as it exists in it's own time-period (months after the previous episode and some time before the next episode). They've certainly never done snow and ice before. I especially loved the Negan scenes, as he's finally a proper part of the group and a good guy. Even Eugene cracks a smile at his jokes and digs at Gabriel!

Angry Tardis It is! Just shows the freedom Kang is giving to her actors. The show needed to breathe after all that Negan fiasco and Kang was the right showrunner for the job because she seems to be very collaborative and allows more organic scenes.

Blessings to Jaden (Happy Birthday), Mom & family. And to all who's family is suffering, not only from covid, but from other illnesses as well. 14:28 LOL! That was so "out-of-the-blue" that it caught me off-guard. I'm assuming that was a jab at someone in particular? I can only guess who. Thank you for understanding Carol's grief, better than most...and her relationship with Daryl. Love Ezekiel, but the last thing he should take away from Carol - in this time of losing another child - is her need for her 'constant', and unfortunately for Ezekiel, it's Daryl. I'm sad that they will be grieving in different ways, and apart, but you're right - such is life. Oh, and btw...Daryl asked Carol what's she sees when she looks at him, because he feels that she might be thinking he's responsible for Henry's death too. (I think it was a jab to the audience about everyone blaming Daryl for everyone else dying - lol) This was a beautiful, but tragically haunting season ending. 😊🌺🏝️❤️

Season 9 is my second favorite season...its the best written and best story arc season of the series but season 4 is my favorite...not because its better than season 9 but because its home to me. Yes Angela Kang saved this show and kick its ass. She is amazing!

the way I interpreted the ending was she was saying she needs to be ready for the communities to fight back or something. It looked like it was before the storm and you can see in that scene she is cleaning blood off her garrote that she used to cut the people's heads off

The scene where Ezekiel puts his hand on Tara's name on the charter is so small, but sad. I loved the atmosphere of this episode. I love the scene when Michonne and the group arrive back at Alexandria before the snowball fight. Seeing the Alexandria sign being sweeped, the small skeleton crew of characters arriving back home, after such a loss on the pikes...and in the snow. Seeing the small disheartened group, It just made me think of all the characters we once had, who have fought to get them to where they are now -Rick, Carl, Andrea, Hershel, Beth, Lori, Sasha, Shane, Glenn, Abe - everyone who played their part.

Kang basically pulled a whole twist on the "calm before the storm" storytelling trope, the calm actually was the storm and the storm itself was more of the calm, such a great writer

I love the ironic titles of the last two episodes. The Calm Before was the big episode and The Storm was a bit of a calmer epilogue of sorts with a literal storm. A slower, but not in a bad way episode.

This was a great season finale, doesnt compare to the previous episode but this was fantastic, the frozen walkers and walkers coming out from underneath the snow was soo creepy and scary, Negan is awesome, it was this episode that I realized he changed, love his friendship with Judith, saving her and dog, getting hurt in the process, loved him messing with Father Gabriel as well, also Lydia is awesome, great addition to the show and to the group as well, her scenes in this episode were incredible, love her interactions with Carol, her apologizing to Carol about Henry's death, still makes me cry :( knowing she and Henry were starting a relationship, cant wait for season 10, hope the both of you are doing well including everyone else as well, hope everyone has a happy 4th of July tomorrow, please stay safe and take precautions.

Loved this episode, especially as it shows Negan's relationship with Judith, and him pretty much admitting he was 'evil' but he didn't see it that way at the time. I think Negan does feel a debt to Rick's family, although he'd probably never admit it. Great season overall.

Imagine his reaction. 3No one think he is the evil one" That very deep and strong that Negan say that (Governor, Gareth, Negan, Alpha ..) all of them thought what they did was good and necessary to survive. First time there are Snow in TWD that pretty good with the freaking frozen zombies. The scene with Darryl kill the zombie with the stalagmite make me think about a similar scene with Bruce Willis in Die Harder (1990).

They knew Judith had ran off same with Negan but if you listen carefully you can hear someone I think Rosita telling them to hold on you can also hear voices yelling out too so I’m guessing Negan wasn’t the only one but the only one we see I think Negan does care because he asked about everyone from the kingdom and he didn’t even know them it’s a great episode and rather hilarious at the slights at the love quadrangle

Incase you guys were wondering about the timeline of the show overall, I’ve been working on it for along time with the help of a website. I’ll simplify because the list I have is the exact date for each episode Season 1: October 2010 Season 2: October 2010 Season 3: June 2011 Season 4-8 happens from December 2011 - April 2012, and the parts of season 9 before ricks disappearance is late 2013. This episode takes place in March 2020, and as of 10x15 they’re in December 2020, weather and Carl’s age are very inconsistent but that is the Timeline
