you guys are so fun to watch reacting to these badass episodes.! maggie and negen will never be friends or anything like that, but eventually they will learn to tolerate eachother.! elijah whas a reaper.!! maggie safed him and then they went on the run, that is also the reason why pope want's to kill maggie so badly, and also elijah now has a target on his back.! gabriel is in a dark place right now, and i think his days are numbered. about leah and daryl and connie, daryl and leah will also leave the reapers or kill them from the inside with DOG ofc.! but then in a future episode judith will tell daryl that rick is alive and that michonne is looking for him, i think that's where daryl and leah + DOG ofc.! ;) go out to find rick.! and those people in that house where connie and virgil where held up in, i thinkk those have connections to the experimenting that the CRM is doing on people, and it went wrong so they got castout. i mean angela kang even called them "creatures" in a intervieuw. the guy that daryl tortured is from maggie's group and has told pope who daryl really is.! yeah this episode was really horror like with connie and virgil in that house with the "creatures".!! oh and the reunion with connie and kelly made me emotional, i cryed a lil. *oh and if you guys thought this whas an epic episode, prepare for the next ones, it's getting so crazy.!!*

@@murray0234 To the best of my recollection she has never made a noise in any episode. And she is deaf in real life which makes her even that much more impressive as an actress. And kudos to the idea of the silence to add to the terror. Being scared would be one thing. being deaf and scared, you are missing one of your senses would be even worse!!

Definitely one of the scariest episodes of TWD so far. The whole eyeball jumpscare had me screaming like a baby. So damn good & scary that this episode felt like it's own little horror movie!

One of the bestest episodes that actually had horror in it with those Mutants in the house, old school horror music and the filming with Connie in silence amped it all up. Took us back to the cornfield with that baby, Alpha and the other Whisperers going after her.... Love this Season!

They’re feral people. This apocalypse has been going on for at least 15 years (time jumps) those “mutants” were probably kids when this started, and they’ve been fending for themselves this whole time. They’re just living how nature has allowed them to.

This is one of the best episodes period. Also, when she uses the walkers to defend themselves, i think that scene was so important. You can have your murder houses and crazy cults, but this world belongs to the walking dead

@@tobe1207 i highly doubt that. Remember its been going on for 10 years. And correct me if Im wrong Virgil said they almost herded them into the house. So in my opinion they do that but dont actually eat walkers, the instincts just came in and he jumped to protect his friend so..

@@tobe1207 thats a good question. We saw lots of human bones around that house, and I figure they weren't walker bones. Walkers couldn't open the front door like Connie and Virgil did, so I think the ferals just waited until people came in for shelter, then attacked and ate them.

Michonne believed in Virgil so I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He saved Connie so he had no reason to hurt her now. The ferals are an amazing twist in the “living are more dangerous” thing. It definitely reminded me of The People Under the Stairs, a great movie. Also kind of like Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the bones everywhere. But an amazing episode. I’m so glad Connie is back and can’t wait to see her reunited with Daryl.

Connie was so smart this episode she literally made the cannibals fight with the walkers and they met there match with that one and plus the way the actress that played kelly acted at the end there to Connie was the first time that both actresses have seen each other in a while due to COVID restrictions and stuff while filming for this season

One of the best episodes in The Walking Dead tbh! The horror, the POV's of Connie and Virgil, the ferals vs walkers.. everything was INCREDIBLE. Also that look that Pope give to Daryl while saying that he got everything he wanted to know about Maggie's group AA it was a nasty glare tbh, probably to get on Daryl's nerves idk. Such a great episode! Every time it went to Connie perspective and it was quiet, I got even more freaked out!!! It’s actually really hard to scare/freak me out but for some reason this one got me! I think it’s because I really was not expecting anything like this for this episode. Also, just imaging being in Connie’s shoes not being able to hear anything and having to run for your life made me sooo incredibly anxious 😅

Definitely one of the best episodes of the show - period - in my view. I adore Connie. Possibly one of my top 5 characters of the whole show, and one the very few truly wholesome selfless characters left - which makes me fear for her even more. I had to pause the episode a few times to de-stress while watching 'cause I was too stressed out in the house with the feral cannibals.

OMG. I am feeling this theory about Elijah. I see it now. Maybe that is why Maggie is marked, maybe from "taking" Elijah from the team? But then Pope seems like the kind of person to be like ok F you you're weak and not care that he didn't want to be with them anymore. I see what you’re saying with the back and forth kinda thing, it does happen a lot. However, in that circumstance between Connie and Virgil, I disagree. Virgil’s persistence to get her to take the knife showed that he really changed, it showed that he was determined to be selfless despite repeated attempts to convince him otherwise. It was an important development for his character and we needed to see it.

I don't know if Frost said anything. My thinking is Pope is trying to garner a reaction from Daryl and Leah . Conner is like Daryl in that way. Virgil is redeemed because he sacrificed himself for Connie. I'm all about connie and Daryl. She even understands Carol's dynamic with Daryl . I'm just saying. They balance each other .

Girl having some severe PTSD from being trapped in that cave/mine, for who knows how long. That's why she can't sleep, having flashbacks, reliving it when she sees walkers - whilst dealing with these freakish cannibals... Poor thing. She must have been through some hellish stuff trapped in that cave... Considering after everything she's been through before that - that cave is what gives her PTSD. Side note though - this was the creepiest episode of Walking Dead I've seen in years. Probably since season 1-4. Love the more horror-themed episodes.

They really dialled-up the horror factor for this episode, which is really saying something for a Horror TV show! I'm sure Steve's arm wasn't prepared for a Nikki assault today (love it when she does that in the horror movie reactions!). I also loved the music, especially when Connie opened the door and let the Walkers in at the end. Finally, I definitely think Pope's onto Daryl by this point. Although, I've now picked-up on Daryl himself loudly talking in the Safe House about how many Reapers there are, when he knew Maggie and co. were under the floorboards. So, I reckon there will be a battle to take them down sometime in the future.

Daryl gave to much away when he was looking at that tied up walker and how he kept looking at Pope. I get Daryl is probably worried about what that guy told Pope but he should've played it off, it looks like Pope knows he can't trust Daryl but hopefully it's a red herring.

That Spider was more scary than the Walkers! This episode was the scariest bloody episode I've ever seen, I was freaked out lol Those feral people totally herded them to the house they were watching them at their camp.... Virgil redeemed himself xxx RIP Frost I think Popes screwing with them at the end

All the photos in that house is all those cannable ferals relatives, so they scratched out the eye's out. The producer said that scene and the first season with Rick being attacked by all the 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️ underneath that tank was her favourite scenes she did.

This episode completely threw me, when I first started watching I thought it would probably be a bit dry and that the Connie and Virgil storyline would be second fiddle to the Daryl and Leah Reapers bit. How wrong I was on both counts. This was genuinely hands down one of the best episodes of TWD of all time because of the Connie/Virgil storyline in it. Not only was the direction, context, atmospherics and script brilliant but what ultimately nailed it was the performance by Lauren Ridloff. Lauren deserves some kind of award for this episode alone. I have genuinely never been so tense watching an episode of TWD before

pope got almost nothing out of frost i feel like, hes just teasing daryl trying to get some kind of reaction out of him that he cares... and he tries to get into daryls head by killing frost and saying i got everything i needed out of him... but frost didnt say anything about daryl for sure

This show give us back the horror it was meant to be. To make us feel the intensity of stress when you can't hear anything in this kind of situation. Those people who just think about eating and lost completetly their humanity reminded me these cannibales in season 5. Wow I give my respect I'm not easily afraid when I watch horror stuffs but this was scary AS HELL now I can understand and feel what Deaf people really feel that level of fear everytime they watch an episode of TWD 😱 WE NEED MORE EPISODES LIKE THIS

I feel like Connie MIGHT have been seeing things, seeing as she's not sleeping, and she sees monsters every time she closes her eyes. But that still lead them to finding out who's in the house, rather than being caught offguard.

One of my favorite episodes of the series, Greg Nicatero did a great job of directing the episode, but I could do without the Reaper storyline. Not a fan of Pope and Leah. Fun fact about last night's episode, in last night's Talking Dead, Lauren Ridloff mentioned she asked Greg to keep her and Angel Theory (Kelly) apart from each other until they saw each other in that reunited scene.
