@@erickmartinez2211 Eh, I don't think so. I think that Leah (Lia?) was part of his growth, kinda like Beth. He wasn't ready, not while she was still around. But now there's Connie and he's not defensive or skittish with her. He opens up easily and even seeks her out, something practically unheard for him. Connie challenges him, but not in an abrasive way, just matter-of-factly. Like "This is how it's gotta be, come on." Daryl respects that in a way that he even struggled with for Rick. That says a lot. No, Connie's not forgotten. Not by a long shot. 😉 She'll be back and the reunion will be _epic._

@@kali4568 That was one act in which Daryl expected to lose his own life at the cost of it, not Glenn's. And afterwards, Daryl was literally tortured by the Saviors and even after he was rescued, he still blamed himself and accepted responsibility for his part in Glenn's Death. I don't believe Carol has shown that much remorse over her actions to kill Alpha, least of all Connie. This is honestly like...the 2nd time someone has held her responsible after Kimiko. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Daryl or Carol fan but she needed at least a little more accountability.

It could've worked of Leia was mentioned in season 9 during the Michone episode or something but she literally shows up then vanishes. I wouldn't call myself a hardcore Daryl fan but it definitely feels out of place. Leia could've just been a friend that provided shelter for Daryl when he needed it without forcing a romance plot.

Happy to be included as always! My dad and I both had rough days, but this cheered us up 😊 I didn't hear spoilers but I knew there was some heat around it. I realized it was Daryl getting with a woman that wasn't Carol or Connie and I knew people were mad at nothing (and took it the extra mile by harassing poor Lynn). The backlash was so unwarranted and I'm glad to see my fellow reactors weren't on the hate train.

I love Daryl but he looked like a hypocrite to me in this episode. "I know where I belong" Really?? Because we literally saw he was more than ready to run away with Leah. He also went through the same thing as Carol when he punched Negan and drove the truck into the Sanctuary. Out of all the characters in the show he should understand Carol better than anyone. It makes no sense that he'd still be that mad at her. Especially because he knows she's already made peace with Kelly and Lydia and she's trying to make amends with everyone else. And I'm 100% sure that wherever she is, even Connie isn't mad at Carol so it feels like they're dragging this out just for cheap drama and it's not even impactful because we know Carol and Daryl are getting a spin-off.

I think people forget these are bonus episodes and that they were filmed while quarantine was still hot n heavy. The fact that we got them at all is a tribute to the cast and crew

Tho we only just seen this girl I can understand why she and Daryl became a couple since they were out in the wild for a long time and are both similar in some way but maybe we can see a story of her before she met Daryl around the early days of the end time's
