The Walking Dead Season 11 Finale Alternate Ending First Look 'Older RJ & Judith' Breakdown 

The only way the alternate ending with the kids all grown up would've worked is if in the last episodes, rick and michone came back snd reunited with everyone, as well as no spinoffs.

They should just carry on The walking Dead for the next decade or two with the Grimes legacy and let them grow right in front of our eyes over the years for another 12 or so years Let's be honest, most of us really only care about Rick Grimes and he can't be around forever so to make it work you have to have either another really good character that is likable or you carry on the Grimes legacy with Judith and RJ

So happy that they did the reshoots, changed the ending and put Rick and Michonne in it, it was the cherry on top for the series finale being awesome

Maybe the alternate ending will be the first scene of a reboot

it would be such a missed opportunity for andy not to meet cailey on screen. cailey IS judith, it would be strange having andy meeting an "older" actress playing judith

I wanna see Jeffery Grimes introduced in the Daryl spin off

I really love the cailey Fleming as Judith , and would love to see her continue on as the character, because she has so much potential as an actor and she already kills "no pun intended 🤣😂" as Judith,plus they can make up for killing Carl off, because besides Glenn, that was the biggest mistake the show did, because of Carl, and it also had an affect on Andrew leaving the show,even if it was ten percent of a factor, so Judith and RJ as a Duo as alot of potential as well...

If they decide to do Hershel’s story from the comics I’ll be so upset. That’s the one story line I hated. He’s Glenn and Maggie’s son and Hershel’s grandson…just ain’t no way he could turn out bad.

I really wish they would have introduced chase and the dude from the next webisodes that survived the hospital to the main show they was good characters.. and when chase went through ricks locker and saw his pictures and smiled it made me feel like he might be ricks brother

I don’t see why it wouldn’t have worked to see the grown up kids, after the Rick and Michonne scene s in the finale. Seeing the kids would not spoil anything from the spin-offs. It doesn’t mean Rick and Michonne never returned or died. It just means the kids survived and have carried on the adults mission. I think it would have made the original Walking Dead series feel more like a finale.

I just want this to end :'( No one wants to rewatch shows that go on for 20 years. Andy Lincoln expressed regret after watching the rest of S9... They should have brought him back for S10 and then finish the show properly. I'm a massive TWD fan but I'm burnt out. I'm just barely hanging on only because I want to see the Rick and Michonne ending.

I’m ok with the casting with everyone except Ezra. He’s so tiny. I can’t see Jerry having any kids that small. And I would prefer we see the original Judith Grimes grow up and still be the same actress. But it’s cool either way for later on down the line

Ezra just seems to be too short and skinny to be Jerry's kid considering his wife is not small.

I think the kid next to Rj is supposed to be Hershel, Ezra is basically a random kid, he never had lines

I’m sure you figured this out but for anyone who doesn’t know yes Ezra is in fact one of Jerry’s kids 🙌 the one who dressed as shiva for Halloween in the commonwealth (he was also gifted shivas collar and leash in that episode) 👍

I think the alternate ending would be too bleak or stagnant. Think about it. The Commonwealth would grow and prosper with Alexandria, hilltop, and Oceanside. In 20 years the world would be rebuilding with that core as the hub. If in 20 years they're still looking for survivors seems kind of boring and farfetched.

Also - I am annoyed at how inconsistent they are about cars and guns working. I remember Angela Kang emphasizing that they had to use horses and melee weapons cuz all the fuel was gone. No way they found a way to make more.

They should have just done another season. Spinoffs are dumb. But... I'm excited to see Rick again

If they started filming Fear season 8 is August, then they're by now filming episode 8, so they're more than ready to release it by the end of February

I dont think you can do like judith without her original actor, rj you can do bc he was a much smaller character

All new cast would feel forced and corny to me 🤡 Best case scenario they focus on other characters for years before Judith's ark.

I'm glad they changed the ending, having Rick and Michonne reunite with a different Judith actress rather than cailey wouldn't hit the same But once the reunion happens and Rick story is done, sure shows us the kids all grown up and do a show about that

Could there possibly be a spinoff in mind for the kids of the show? Maybe it was an idea that got floated and shot down. They put some money into that different ending and one has to wonder why. Just a thought.

Yeahhh, no thanks on ending the show like the comic did. The idea things are set without knowing what we haven’t seen yet is sad. Personally I feel it’s cool if they lost the spin offs, but this felt more like a fail safe if the franchise deteriorated further. Like if a Daryl spinoff or especially Rick And Michonne show/movie didn’t come to fruition. The Rick and Michonne show has so much going for it, especially in world building. Same with Dead City, Daryls show and anything they’re trying to tell story wise. As for characters appearing flash forward is telling us who makes it or does not gives away too much. Love your content bro and I’m glad to hear things are getting better for you. I’m in a similar life situation with my kids and their mother, so I understand things are tough. Just know it only gets better ❤

I think the way herchel was in dead city was great.. he felt like I believe most of us felt.. he was tired of Maggie beating a dead horse over neegan.. she turned so bitter and obsessive.. one day she finds her peace the next it’s like it happened yesterday and she wants her vengeance.. I was rather annoyed with her the last seasons and n dead city.. she quickly became one of my least favorites

I really like the idea of a bigger world but the series didn’t start off strong with Fear and World. I think that weakens the overall concept as a whole. Fear has some really good seasons and really bad seasons and we all know it.

Ending and whole last 8 episodes were terrible . Flopped . Like game of thrones was a terrible ending .

It would of been a better ending because it just seemed like the ending we got just set up the spin off it didnt give a proper ending to the show they still could of done it an still did the spin offs
