Jose Lang most of the season 7 hate was because of having to wait week after week to see things happen. They’re fortunate enough to just be able to watch episodes back to back.

CGCentral HD true that. I’ve never been one of those people who complain that their favorite character got killed off. I just accept it and move on. Not gonna threaten to stop watching cause a character I really like dies

better than 7 and 8 but still very boring and the whisperers don't make sense.

@@arthurguillen8432 honestly really can't remember. I want to say I started binging in 2015. I remember finally having to wait for episodes sometime in season 6 I believe.

Yep. Season 2 doesn't even have as much action as seasons 7/8 but I still think it's better than both seasons. The whole finding Sophia storyline dragged but after that was over season 2 picked up. With seasons 7/8, I just couldn't wait for the All Out War/Negan arc to be over. I def don't think people are exaggerating when they talk about the quality of seasons 7/8. Two seasons of trying to kill Negan was unnecessary. The lack of viewers each episode showed. Over the past two seasons the ratings and viewership plummeted. Season 9 was great but a lot of people don't wanna watch TWD anymore because of seasons 7/8

@@girlidk2946 yep the Negan arc lasts nearly 3 seasons but when adapted correctly it should of only lasted 2 seasons or less the arc was epic in the comics but the show didn't do it justice. I'm just excited to see their reaction to season 9 since they think season 7 is this good.

Veey true that is part of the reason seasons 7 and 8 are hated though you can also clearly tell there was a dip in quality in terms of writing and pacing. The second half of season 6 all the way to the end of season 8 is basically 1 whole arc that should of been shortened but they stretched it out instead, in turn they lacked source material content so they had to make original characters like the trash people and bottle episodes.

I feel you, Season 8 was incredibly bad. Knowing the changes they made up top before Season 9 came out is what convinced me to give it a shot. Season 9 is the best season to date.

This show is an adaptation of a comic book so you don't know the whole story or lore about the world. While this season does have major issues everything you personally pointed out as an "issue" isn't an issue at all since that could all be explained with common sense, context clues, or by reading the comics since 1 thing that seasons 7 and 8 did do wrong was how they adapted the comics into the show. If you are going to provide criticism for a show then actually critique the right things. Jesus knows the Kingdom because he's been there before and all the communities in the area trade with each other through Negan, they are all basically saviours since they all work for Negan regardless so why wouldn't they know each other? This is a pretty believable and realistic scenario considering it's based off a comic. Rick's story was pretty easy to understand idk how that's even an issue, the purpose was to convince the king since telling stories has been something humans have done for years to help convince eachother. Also since when does apocalypse mean no communities or people? If you've read the comics you'd know that there is still thousands of people in the world and that there is a community 100x larger than all the current communities combined. The whole point of the story is about rebuilding society since not everyone would die, people would continue to survive. Walkers just walk and eat, there is plenty of ways to counter it and move forward. Keep in mind seasons 7 and 8 are my most disliked seasons so I'm not some fanboy defending it

ur just nit picking at this point lol all the "issues" you listed can easily be explained..i read ur comment expecting some good criticism of plot points, but was very disappointed lol.

Why are you watching?

Well no I haven't read the comics so I can't speak on anything from them. Regardless I'm not saying it's impossible to have a lot of communites existing within the same radius, but it is highly implausible. The early seasons of the show showed human life to be pretty scarce in comparison to now. And I didn't mind the Hilltop, the Kingdom, Alexandria and the Saviors, but then they're giving us Oceanside (And why they're even in the same radius of the Saviors after what the Saviors did to them is beyond me) and then the garbage people. Not to mention that library community a season ago and the various outposts throughout the area that the Saviors have. It's too much and does not create believability. And yes this is a fictional show, but a viewer can only suspend their disbelief for long.

And Jesus knowing where The Kingdom was is just bad writing. Now if he knew in the comics I'm sure the events in the comics are different than the events of the show. In the show he's known about the Kingdom, but doesn't bring them up until now...for some reason after everything that's already happened. Now if we are to believe that within Virginia there are these multiple communities and other area's of human life then how did Jesus really think/not know that the Saviors only had that one outpost? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
