Hey guys, for backing up your save game you can also quit out to Main Menu -- Settings -- Save Files -- Copy (works on all platforms). This way you don't have to replay the entire episode for missable trophies/achievements (be sure to make backup at start of Act 2).
PowerPyx at 17:19 can you quit here at the hunting spot, copy your save file to another, go back and do one trophy, then go to the other save file and do the other trophy or do you have to quit and copy your save file before you meet the leader of the school during act 2 ?
You can skip as soon as you leave the school and gone to the hunting grounds. You only get 1 save and it is just when you have reached the hunting/fishing area. So backup the save asap no need to wait until after the dialogue since you have to see it each time.
PowerPyx Yo so i played with one file got to the fishing area and got the collectibles and today i decided to make a fresh file but i still have the other file saved so i put my collectibles from the fish one in my room and now i have the new file got to the hunting area so when i get the collectibles will i still be able to get the trophy from it? Even tho i have to seperate files?
Lol this season you actually have to HUNT/ EARN your achievements. Gonna have to be playing some episodes more than once, but it's all good, at least i'll have a different story for my side games.
Never would've thought there would be collectibles in this game and actual achievements. In all the previous games you simply get a trophy just for completing the chapters and episodes.
Just thought I should note that the "AJ's Drawing" collectible at 9:13 is unmissable. I told Violet she could have the colouring stuff back and she said AJ could finish his drawing first. Giving it back also boosts your relationship with Tenn.

You can just quit to main menu and copy your save to another slot isntead of backing it up online. This way you can have you main save with the decision you want to have for coming episodes. Uploading doesnt offer that unless you make copies before hand.
80% of comments talking about AJs drawing and getting it no matter what. Yes we get it, no need to repeat it when all the other comments are saying the same thing as well.
I really like what they did with this game It actually feels like an adventure game with Dialogue options to explore the story kinda like a reboot to the series, which is okay because I loved what they did with God Of War (2018)
@@hgsimmo1153 yes I forgot the name of the creator I think he started with the letter A then it ends with "gamer" the thumbnail has blue outlines with yellow text scroll down quick and you can miss it , the guide is only for episode 4, 3 and 2 are separated between collectibles and trophies.

It's worth noting that you can give the toolbox back to Violet & STILL get AJ's drawing as a collectible. Also, when hunting with Louis & Aasim, you can get both Achievements/Trophies linked to each of them without having to back your save up. Just go back to the main menu & continue Episode 1. You'll be taken back to where you first started with them, walking through the woods before deciding who you'd like to help.
for the AJ's drawing collectible, you can still acquire it if you give back the colouring box. That's what I chose for the dialogue, and Violet let AJ finish the drawing
Holy shit, there's actual trophies that you need to put at least SOME effort into getting now, instead of being GIVEN to you for just playing the game.
Just finished thank you, I'll just say I'm bummed we only get 4 episodes for the last season and I didn't notice the episode much longer even though I've read they are half a hour longer episodes, they have re captured the feel of the games first season so well, all ready feel a bond with the rest of the cast and it's much better than season 3 I really found they lost the way with that totally but I guess wanted to try something different are we gonna find out the last seasons characters fates? The pause music gets me lol But yeah so far so good...
Is this season actually good? I just played the demo and was in awe of the fact that it actually has more gameplay than just clicking things with the cursor this time.
James Rumsey Hmm i would have to play the rest of the episodes, but i really liked season 2. Probably because i liked Kenny as a character. I thought there were some nice moments in this episode and a great ending. But if you're not sure, just wait for all episodes to release

James Rumsey I really enjoyed this season so far, and I like collecting collectables for the bedroom. the Clementine you raised over the seasons will impact AJ . The plot so far is pretty interesting, with it being a community of teens and children
The headmaster abandoned the kids. I can sorta get it. Maybe he had a fam too. It’s not like he was still getting paid anymore. Abandoning YOUR dog though. That’s the same thing as abandoning YOUR kid. Personally I would have stayed. Bet my ass that greenhouse could have been maintained. I also would’ve already caught some of them goddamn rabbits and started breeding them. Their actually in an amazing position and amazing location there’s no reason they should be floundering around except their kids. At least they were Smart enough to take down the signs.
I'm trying to wrap my mind around you saying leaving a bunch of little children to starve/getting eaten alive bc you maybe have family is understandable (which is the only part I could agree with but extra morbid points for the "it's not like he was still getting paid" as if that matters in an apocalypse) but leaving one single dog behind is outrageous to you 😐
Chris Reilly not obvious, that will probably be an ending but not the main one that everyone gets. Clem probably won’t die they aren’t stupid and yes they are saying stuff like “no promises” to stir things up
I love the walking dead telltale games but the skill related trophies annoy me a little because of not being able to skip cutscenes to get back to them
I messed up fishing and hunting at least once. And fked up my save file since I failed fishing my first play through. So i had to replay the damn episode again. (Didnt realize I needed 2 copies) I hate these little finicky bs missable trophies from this game
For some reason on ps4 it isn’t letting me copy my current save slot... i press copy but it wont save/paste to new slot? Im just at the start of act two and not sure how to save it. 🤔
lBurstu; Gotcha, I just realized that's how Brave New Frontier was done. I might live in the city, but still don't have working Internet at my apt so not all of us are lucky. Can't wait for the physical copy to drop!!
@@ThrdSonofSparda Hopefully they will keep the same scheme as with their previous game, although why should that even change. My guess is somewhere early 2019 or even late 2018 who knows :). Im physical copies collector buut I can make some exceptions sometimes. Same will happen with Life is Strange Season 2 and any other futures games like these two
I am finding it hard to get the “make it look nice” trophy as i missed the fake flowers... i started a new game and got them, went back to my later save but they aren’t there?
Cause you missed them in your later save, you’ll have to go back to your new save where you got them, and continue all the way through getting them all, it’s per save, not per Xbox/ps4 account.
Can't do the rabbit one. I always miss the second. So annoying. Still trying though. It would be a lot easier if it saved after you choose who to help so you don't have to constantly go through all the conversations at beginning
Savegames are a pain in the *ss in this game. They had to do it like in season 2... anyway i loved all 4 seasons because every is so diffrent like the other story
The stark difference between the hunting trip & the fishing trip. It’s like OK I have a choice but come on? Given the end of the episode It’s clear one is plugged more than the other. Even AJ’s comment at the end of the hunting trip about fish.
You got somethings wrong If you give the box back to tenn, violet says "it's just that that was his sisters , you can finish ur drawing" and u get the collectable And if u go hunting with Louis , you find the cat skull in the bushes
I just wanted to say that despite rejecting Tenn's offer of drawing me and AJ (forgive me I'm doing a scumbag clem walk through after my first one lmao I already felt horrible xD), I still got the trophy. He said he was gonna draw a different one, but I've seen no video or forum show that other drawing but it must exist since I still got the trophy for all collectibles for that episode so I assume I'll get it. I'll let yall know if I do. Edit: okay so I just placed the collectibles and I was able to place Tenn's drawing. It is the exact same drawing you get when you allow Tenn to include Clem and AJ, it wasn't wrinkled or had AJ scratched out and it had Clem on it, so I figure it must be a bug. There is no "alternative" drawing. Either way I hope this helps for everyone who is doing a scumbag clem play through lmao Edit 2: THE PICTURE IS SUDDENLY GONE OFF THE WALL THE MOMENT I CAN INTERACT IN CLEM AND AJS ROOM AT THE START OF EPISODE 2, SO IDK I GUESS IT RLY WAS A BUG AND ACTUALLY WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE COLLECTED WHEN YOU REFUSE THE DRAWING

Do you still need help? I just completed all the episode 1 achievements on Xbox today. To do the data save on Xbox: When you get to the start of Act 2, exit out of the game, then back out of the game again until you reach the first menu. There should be an option at the top saying save files. Click on that option and then press Y to copy the save file you were just on, then press down on the D pad to an unused save file and press A to duplicate it. Now you'll be able to get all the achievements without having to play the entire episode all over again. It will still take ages but not as long thankfully.

@@scoresumm No worries. I thought I'd have to do the same as I had loads of achievements missing when I finished the story, until I found out how to do it. When you choose the hunting path, as soon as it cuts to a cutscene on a forest, you can do the same process again, even though it doesn't show a save icon. Then when you complete the pinata achievement, you only have to sit through 3 minutes of dialogue until you can attempt the other. The rabbit one took 6 tries but got it eventually. Hope you get to complete the game soon now :)
Anyone knows if there's a way to purchase first episode separately? I'm trying to find it on PSN, but all I got is season pass. Was so hyped to play it today but when there's no way to get them separately it kinda sucks :/
you will have to reload your save unless you went too far and it saved there are not a lot of checkpoints either, if you haven't gone too far quit the game and reload your save again, you will have to do a huge chunk of the story to get back to where you were though.
