i agree. not only that but RJ seeing him for the first time and him even seeing Rj for the first time was emotional as well. perfect ending and the most beautiful ending.
The series started with Rick waking up and looking for his family, and ended with him finding it. There may be more in the universe of this show but this was pretty perfect.
It was the moment his transformation was complete, my second favourite scene, my favourite and the most heartbreaking is when he finds out lorrie is dead, heart wrenching visceral real raw grief and shock.
I cried so hard when Carl died the reason he got killed off is because he was becoming an adult soon and they didn’t wanna pay him an adult contract so they killed him off and I’m so pissed about it
@@landeng8356Well, character wise, Carl wouldn't be dead at all if he didn't go outside the walls to save some random stranger(Siddiq). He was a fool to go out there and risk his life like that.
Exactly. As Danai says, they had to accomplish what they proposed. That's an ending. Thank you Andy, Danai and Scott for bringing us this amazing series. ❤
@@garethlawton5278from the start of advertising that was never the main plot. rick and michonnes relstionship was. it was stated as a love story. brother don’t be shallow
I really feel you. My dog recently had some life threatening complications and it’s a nightmare. Luckily she’s come out on top but man is it stressful. Best of luck to Rocco!
I loved it! It was a good goodbye for the show to me! I think I'm done with TWD universe but I've loved the journey. Thanks for watching with me over the years! Bless you!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, AMC! FOR MAKING THIS LONG AWAITED SHOW HAPPEN! THAT’S THE WAY TO DO IT! THAT’S OLD SCHOOL! OLD SCHOOL LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL!
Beale is defo the guy from Lost TV series, what a great actor. Terry O'Quinn, I was scratching my head saying i know this guy from somewhere before. Yep Beale was John Locke ,From Lost that also was a great show.
Rick has never been the one who wanted to save the world he's always been pushed into that Michonne has always been the one that wanted to save the world. Every situation Rick has been in especially when they came to Alexander it's always been about protecting just his group just his child
This was a fantastic episode and your reaction just as good as ever. I hope the vet is able to help Rocko! Interesting to see two antagonists switch to believing in Rick and Michonne's cause just before they die, Jadis and Thorne but, given they they were standing there United before them I guess that was all the proof they needed. I was concerned that Beale had been underused this season so I was expecting a season 2 with him featuring more but the Echelon Briefing was a note perfect performance and made up for his lack of screentime and that moment he looked in Rick's eyes and saw the truth was amazing, and he even kind of predicted his own downfall by saying Rick could take over!
Considering the walking dead shows many times have done the seasons long villains, I’m glad that for once we had a short time villain and I’d say he had a bigger impact because of his limited screen time on the show As we saw with the cannibals on the main show who didn’t last long, they made the right impact without overstaying on the show
I like when you talk about all people that met Rick were A's even if someone had to become it thorugh time, i imeddiately though of gabe, who appeared in this series. I like to think it say it was on purpose from the writers cause jadis also shifted a lot into an A herself.
@@KCohere33 Don't agree. Rick is big about change and chances. I think he'd be happy to see the 180 Negan has done. Yes, he did horrible things, Maggie reminds him on the daily; but good or bad, I'd love to see how a reunion would play out. I mean Judith is a big Negan cheerleader.
@@kimwatchesstuff What I mean is Daryl and Morgan are close as brothers to him. One of these things are definitely not like the other. Maybe he will appreciate the changes in Negan but I can’t see them ever being friends.
In regards to Jadis/Ann's handwriting in her letter... *Nothing is more naked than your handwriting. See how nothing's quite touching the line? That's vanity* ~TTMR
Never trusted John Locke. Been watching your reactions for the longest and love seeing them. Thank you. I hope you are bearing up ok and things went well with Rocco at the vets and I wish him better.
Yeessss the grimes family is back together again 🎉🎉🎉 judith look like shes around 14 now... they left it opened for a potential part 2 with rick reuniting with his people from Alexandria but it will be called something else but im ok with it ending here because at the end of the day everyone has a real family that misses them the same way we missed them being on our tv
It's been a journey watching you react to TWD Universe all of these years. Can't wait to see you react to future TWD projects. Btw, when will Rick reunite with his brother Daryl?
At least the CRM change and know all the communities are united including the CRM for a great cause. (The chain of command in the CRM military was the one responsible for not making a free will for all the people in philadelphia and the one who tried to keep it that way, was the mayor and others) At least the CRM change and know there gona help other mayor communities and survivors from all old united states. It's only a matter of time that the CRM reconstruct América for a better future, but I fill totally awesome in this finally and it doesn't need another season, but yeah we need to see a big reunion finally with Daryl, Carol, and the rest of the characters that still alive, I hope that they comes so we see a great finally of the walking dead.
The ending of this made me cry what a way to finish season 1 I hope they do a season 2 so the new CRM and Rick meets Mercer and the commonwealth we just need Daryl Negan and Maggie back to see Rick, Carol said Rick came back on the radio in Daryl's spin off.
If any of you actually paid attention to the most important part Beale says to Rick is that the human population has 14 more years to live and that’s a problem because the dead are eating every single person and animal left on the planet and then once they all die it’ll just be a planet of the walking dead
Nothing has been announced, but given that The Ones Who Live gave AMC its highest ratings in near a decade, I would not be surprised in the slightest to see the story continue. That said, if this is where their story ends, I'm good with it.
How muchinne got into the tree Indont know cos the timing was a bit messes up. Can't have been the first tree given where it was on fence corner. N to get to paler tree was v close to the guy coming. Why Beale did nt at least attempt to close fist n yank the sword.. sure Rick could have swiped it thru is fingers gaps but still. Beale truly loved and died by the sword. Those walkers or delta in this case turned a hell of a lot faster than Locke I mean Beale. Wjat were the chances of nearly all the crm on call had changed morealess at same time. Makes you think doesn't certain deaths give certain redirection times. Well It varies yes. But interesting theory
One of the only moments I really enjoyed from this episode was the call back to the "I'm just going to look into your eyes" and Beale being a really good judge of knowing someone's thoughts and seeing Rick's plan. Does make me wonder how Okafore* (unsure on that spelling) managed to bluff this guy for as long as he did, that doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. I'm glad they resolved Rick's story though, this is better than it being unfinished I just wish they didn't rush the CRM's destruction. They were built up over seasons and seasons and they just went down in 5 minutes.
Very underwhelming finale for not just the show, but overall series, as everything just fell into place and worked out waaaaay too quickly and “perfectly,” ya know? Everything CRM is comprised of, and you mean to tell me it was THAT easy to just kill everyone!? Then Portland/rest of CRM just decide to forego everything they had built and been ordered to do (like take over other settlements for resources) and just decide to be peaceful in less than 24 hours!? No one thinks to combine Commonwealth’s forces with the now depleted CRM!?!? C’mon people, it’s like no one has ever studied human behavior!! Plus, you know, the whole “humanity will die out in less than 14 years unless we do something about it”…but nope, let’s ignore all that so we can SELFISHLY get back to Alexandria and watch everyone we love die out when the dead finally consume the entire planet… Between the horrible plot writing and over-indulgence of sex and making out, I can safely say a bunch of YA 20 yr olds barely graduating with a fine arts degree were behind all this…glad to see Rick made it back, but the future of TWD is squarely on the shoulders of the FAR SUPERIOR shows in Dead City and Daryl Dixon 🤨
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 I don't think so. Negan was never supposed to be let out of his cell. Rick wanted Negan to spend the rest of his life locked away. Even Maggie was surprised to see him out of his cell.
I think when he hears that he saved his daughter from death in a blizzard and then again by killing alpha and helping kill beta and helping daryl get her to the hospital in season 11. He let him live in the hope Carl's vision of a future could happen and so I think he'll see that Negan has more than played his part in keeping those he loves alive when he wasn't there.
Rick has grown a lot. Carl's dream was for them to stop fighting and join together. I think rick would understand and be happy that negan could change and fulfil Carl's dream.
