Very cool, thanks for sharing! Also nice to have all the videos in one shot here. An interesting game. With so many out there, it's hard to choose the right one for this genre!
Justin Borges Agreed. It all comes down to taking a good look at what you want from a set of rules really. For me there are a lot of choices. I prefer DBx and L'Art more than any others. Impetvs is good fun as well. THanks bud :)
i do not have the latest version of l art de la guerre but really enjoy the rules of the previous issue. your videos are educational and thoroughly absorbing.5 stars
Hi Kurtus, thanks for posting the video. Question: since scythed chariots are not allowed to be in the same group as any other type of element shouldn't they have a gap between it's base and the elephant's?
Looked a good set of rules, but not different enough from dba for me. Less PIP's makes it a bit slower. Liked the idea of the cohesion points, but does add to table clutter. Also light troops get a ranged attack unlike in DBA, but that only works if you have cohesion points. As I say a bit of a copy cat, but I might try it if I can find a cheap set of rules somewhere, and I always like a good set of army lists.
Looking for these rules in the US, crazy stupid expensive - Amazon $100+? The only distributor mentioned for the US in the French home site doesn't really even show a price "ASK FOR PRICE" what?
On Military Matters in the U.S. should have a copy. He is a great source for a lot of rules - in the US and outside. Here is the link. onmilitarymatters.com/pages/dfsearch.php?term=keywords&data=L%27Art+de+la+Guerre&submit=Search
