my theory is that the tunnel is crystal caverns (revamped caves) you know the place next to the entrance with the blocked up rocks n stuff with the crates? yea i think that the crack will lead to that tunnel meaning we will keep mines forever or a revamped one! remember this is just a theory, A GAME THEORYYYYY

I know exactly what’s happening. The cracks will stay until next flashback when the map leaves. But, when you go into new caves, you will see that mines connects to the entrance on the side of caves! They are keeping og caves and I am so excited! I knew this would happen eventually from that old post from lemming saying the gorillas are still mining in caves, with a photo of some monkeys around the entrance.

Personally, I think that the crack will lead or being you to the current caves map, because of the one entrance right when you enter current caves.

I saw this in the files before it appeared, I also saw some leftover swamp assets called "SwampEntrance" and "SwampSkybox" and there was more. My theory is that it leads to swamp or the new caves and we get old caves back permanently or we get swamp back.

It may combine with that hole in tey crutal caves were that sign is maybe theres going to ba a hole map thats just a mine 🤔

Maybe, they keep old caves in the rotation map spot, but put the actual rotating map through a tunnel where the crack will be. Idk, possible!

My theory is the OG caves map is going to be the last rotation map, the OG caves map will be there until Gorilla Tag shuts down. The cracks in the wall will lead to a horror map (not the basement horror map) and will be a horrifying experience seen by no other monke, not in fan games or whatever, so horrifying that people with parent managed accounts will not be able to access the horror mode. Just my theory though.

I think that this is gonna be an entrance to og mines from normal caves. Like that tunnel at the start of normal caves that has that sign and the rocks covering it up.

I think it's their just to say that the oj caves and oj mines are getting close to an end. Because we recently got a 7 day notice on x for the next update that might be a summer update. After somewhere around 2 weeks, the rotation map will change again. That's what I think.

what if the mining monkeys who moved the rubble from the caves revamp found the old caves and are digging a tunnel from the old caves to new caves

My personal theroy is that they will be connecting the old map to the new caves, that way they keep the old and new. in their discord they said somthing about if the community likes a map very much they might actually add it. so it is highly likely it is to keep the map somwhere else than the rotational map.

I was sick on the first update of this came out and I thought it was really crazy so I go down the caves and I try to summon it. I can’t find it at all so I leave and after I’m all better not sick anymore. I go back into the game and I’m playing with one of my friends and like he bumps into the wall and I look behind him and there’s a crack in the wall and I honestly thought that he crossed the wall to crack, so we spent like 30 minutes hitting the wall

it could be hinting at the next rotation map because every new rotation comes out when a flashback does right? so the devs have like 2 maby 3 weeks to hint at what would be happening next

i think it will have an maze in it and there is gone be treasure that has any cosmedics and max 4000 shiny rocks or less plus the stick and the admin badge and other cosmedits like that cant be gotten
