Without question, I feel the primary reason the Waltons legacy has endured all these years, is the simple fact that it was wholesome, down to earth stories of life!! It was something everyone could relate to... Especially me, because it so closely emulated my family and upbringing. I love watching it even today and love these videos as well.

Thanks to Eric for coming on Judy's show. It was interesting to hear what he had to say, and I always thought he was a wonderful actor. I heard somewhere that Eric was always the cheerful one on set.

Thank you Judy and Eric for this interview. I enjoyed it! I loved it when Judy said she was old school and Ben says he calls it primitive. That was funny and I know how you both feel. I was 8 years old when The Walton's come on and watched faithfully until the show ended. I've watched every single movie that come out after. I just love the characters/actors/ and the show. I just watched Grandma Comes Home the other night and again it brought me to tears. I love Grandma! Thanks again Judy for this and all your hard work putting all these segments together.

That was a fun surprise! I'll always remember Grandma with her broom saying Grandpa was "old Fool" and Ben was "young fool". (regarding how he treated Cindy at first) So many good scenes and plots and shows and acting.

Wonderful!! I had to laugh (to myself) when Eric said that, "You don't go to work and take pictures!" I TOTALLY understand what he means - because we come from the same generation - where work was work - and picture-taking was something that was done on special occasions, in one's personal life - and never the twain shall meet! 📸 Wow! What a difference a few decades makes! Nowadays, people don't part from their cellphones - and they take pictures all day long - of anything and everything! I work in retail- and it still sort of amazes me to see EMPLOYEES fooling around with their PHONES, during WORK. 😳📲 But I digress!! Thanks to you BOTH for letting us all overhear your conversation. Looking forward to the rest!♥️😁

Now thanks to digital age, vcr, dvds, etc we can continue to see shows more that we grew up on and some stumble upon the show. So timeless. I like how you all still get along so well. Thank you and Eric

I've recently started watching The Waltons series again in Hallmark channel. Im 54 and love it more today than ever.

Eric’s comments remind me that when I was a kid there was no way to rewatch a show like the Walton’s unless it was syndicated. There wasn’t a compete series dvd.

Eric’s comment about knowing his character wouldn’t say something a certain way reminded me of when Mary said last week on your video that she was trying to explain to the director that her character would never say “wow, oh wow” about a man.

Thanks, Judy. So nice to hear from "Ben". I loved the episode where he was tired of being short and purchased some shoes to make him taller. But finding that it really made no difference in how people perceived him, he opted to just be himself. The Waltons had so many great lessons to teach us, and they're all just as important today.

It was great seeing Eric and you together again, talking and reminiscing. My favorite interaction with you both was when Ben dressed the pig up with the bonnet and bottle to look like John Curtis!! Lol 🤣😂🤣. So funny!! Mary Ellen was so mad at him and chased him around the buggy and Jim Bob got mad. It was hilarious!! 😂. Just like a brother and sister!!

LOVED hearing from Eric, but I'm always jealous when someone older than I looks so much younger. Both of you have discovered the fountain of youth. I think about my job when I was a teenager & how I wish I had taken photos. But as Eric said, it was a job & you just didn't think of those things at the time. We were young & just living our lives instead of thinking about documenting our lives.

Another great episode. Something Eric said reminded me of a conversation with a friend recently how we were discussing our brothers who are the middle kids and what pains they were and still are. Ben was mostly the middle child and a lot of times was causing or getting in trouble, so it must be a middle kid thing. I think Eric was my favorite boy but Kami will always be my favorite girl. Love what you do Judy and hope you do more interview segments as allowed.

It's wonderful to hear your insights into Ben and being directed! Eric, you said such lovely, true observations about the videos Judy has produced these many months during the pandemic. I loved Ben's way of speaking friendship with Yancy. When Ben reads his poem about The Mountain, I get teary for his humility. Ben and Ike are a good team together! Ben and Cindy are such a loving husband and wife. I admire you so much, Ben/Eric! Judy, thanks for creating these wonderful Walton's visits! P.S. That is a lovely painting! I remember many episodes. And we always used to talk about the show afterwards. Ben’s wedding to Cindy - we used to comment how important it is to welcome someone new to the family . I couldn’t imagine joining a new family and not being welcomed . Ben would have probably had PTSD , having been imprisoned.

That yellow duck that Elizabeth talked about on the Homecoming made me wish we could all stay children forever. Thank you.

Hello Ms. Judy it's so sweet to see how all of the Waltons grew up and are still close. Now that's what I call true family. All of you were a joy to watch. And Ben grew up to be a fine young man. Loved watching him grow up beening in the Navy having the his fathers business getting married and became a father. He was a great joy to watch. Ms. Judy thanks for the memories and Mary Ellen was also a joy to watch. God Bless.

Great to see and hear Eric Scott's outtake onThe Waltons. When Eric mentioned about his character being a "pain", and "tease the siblings a little..." , was hoping the scene would have been brought up when Ben switched John Curtis with a pig in the baby buggy........that was classic.

I am so glad that I've been able to watch all of the Waltons series on Prime. I don't remember any of the early episodes, being only 13 years old at the first showings. Watching from an adult perspective has been a treat. Watching your Ask Judy podcasts has also been such a treat!! Thank you very much, Judy!!❤

Judy, I love these multiple interviews that you're doing with your siblings I am kind of curious I'm sure it was hard to get Tom on the interview but have you considered possibly having him come back but answer more questions along the side of behind the scenes I know he has done some producing himself and you do also. Maybe you could talk more about those things I know people have a lot of questions for you when it comes to filming, producing and behind the scenes lighting.

So nice to see how you as you each saw each other's roles during the series. I think the Waltons came at a time when the country needed to be hopeful, much like today. It was a series that I loved as a child and that my children have also watched with me as an adult.

This was phenomenal. Great to see Eric and, again, can't thank you enough for bringing this channel to us. I can only imagine what it's like as a child actor to "grow up" in the public eye, and with a show as iconic as "The Waltons," you perhaps didn't even consider at the time you were filming that the show would still be shown some 50 years later and discovered by new generations. Great storytelling never goes out of style.

Great getting some of Eric's perspective! I agree that he did great work in the war/POW segments. I think of Ben as hot and levelheaded. He often wanted things yesterday, but comes to realize what it really takes and puts the work in. Like all of you on the show, Eric has aged well.
