This is what happens when you don't have scripted promos from some writer. The talent is in charge of their own storytelling, since they are responsible for it you can see that they are more into what they are saying. You can see that they actually feel what they are trying to portray.

I don't really get why people think it was so 'savage' (btw I am a Pinnacle fan but not a huge Spears fan, I'm trying to be objective). Spears' delivery felt actually threatening and raw to me, but Sammy still sounds like a petty angsty kid, which is a style he has trouble abandoning. He needs more anger. But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

@@vernessalkic1065 That is old school thinking... Right now the real money is in the TV and Content Provider deals. AEW is no longer having to run against anyone so for the new few months this is there first chance since they started truly grow their TV numbers without being gimped by direct competition. Not only was this an epic segment that made this night's TV feel awesome... it has set up next weeks TV as well. You need to get people to do something for about a month before it becomes a habit. This one program alone is going to lock down two of those Wed/Nights. They just need 3 more in a row and bam... over a million is the new normal number.

It's crazy how well Jericho played his cards throughout his career. Where as he's still highly respected as a competitor and everything else. Usually at this age, it's a whole lot of rinse and repeat (Hogan and The Rock even) with the same tired ass catch phrases, moves, etc. For that, I have to say Jericho has literally earned the title of 🐐.
