A touchstone in my darkest moments... such a beautifully orchestrated song that sends chills up my spine from the raw pureness.

It's 2022. This albums been on constant rotation in our house since 2017. If I'm alive in 2030, it still just might be there. What an absolute masterpiece.

I am brand new to The War on Drugs train. I picked up "A Deeper Understanding" on vinyl and have been listening to side A on repeat. It is beyond beautiful and intoxicating.

Going through some chronic pain right now. It messes with your head. This song sums up a lot of what I cannot express into words

this song is extraordinary, beautiful, I love it. So much to relate ... At some point of my life it made me cry like a kid with all these bad feelings and black cloud around me. But a very important thing to remember with this song is that it emphasize the importance of resilience, to encourage me to find strenght in myself, and to continue seeking out what can't be found. Thank you so much ! I'm feeling a lot better these days and I'll never forget it. Still overcoming everything but I'm sure I'll be fine !!

Thanks to the waitress at Tipton's Barbecue in Wilkesboro, North Carolina who identified this song and band for me yesterday(Sunday, August 12, 2018). Knowledge is beautiful sometimes. Glad to know about this fabulous song and band now.

Feeling Dylan, Springsteen and definitely Phil Collins but it's all uniquely the War on Drugs. This sounds just like one of my dad's vinyls on his huge tube analog stereo. I could have played this on his radio back in the 80's and it wouldn't have sounded out of place!
