A band in the truest sense of the word. Every single musician is as critical as the next, all playing their part perfectly and in sync with each other.
The only good thing that came out of the pandemic for me was discovering this band through a You Tube algorithm playing similar artists...I am forever grateful
I saw this band in Seattle at the paramount, showed up super early and got front stage on the floor. I watched the opener with no more than 100 ppl but TWOD’s set was so captivating that I didn’t look behind me until the end. I guess what I’m trying to say is this band was so damn good that it felt like I was watching a small private concert instead of a completely sold out shoulder to shoulder show.
I'm thinking of a place and we've all hear of it as kids. Its to be in heaven with Jesus. Where there is no pain. No hunger. No lies. No death. Eternal life and the outpour of happiness. Where no man or woman is accounted for their past sins. But rather their faith on jesus that brought them there. Come what may if I shall taste death sooner than what I think. I can't wait.
Unbelievable band. As good as it gets. Nuanced, complex and convincing. A rare gem the mainstream don’t have the attention span for. Saw them in Sydney last month. Incredible. Chapeau.
These cats just keep getting better … and adding Eliza Hardy Jones just turns it up some more 🔥🔥🔥can’t wait to see them live again - but for now - thanks Mr Mustard for the upload🙌🏻⚡️
Ive loved these guys for 10 years but there's something about this song which is next level, even for them. Pure poetry with melodies to give you shivers. Cant think of a better rock band of my generation.
This band's music touches me like no other, my soul, my heart, fills me up. Last year, I heard some 20 seconds of one of their songs in my friends' video as they were dancing on the beach at a TWOD concert - and it was enough for me to say, wow, I've been looking for this sound for years and years, so sad that rock that I can like, has died. But here it is, and I am so thankful. I heard them in Toronto in August 2022, and will again in Prague this June! I am already so excited! Thank you, MUSTARD for these videos. ❤🙏
Seen the War On Drugs in dublin on the 14th of april last(2022) after randomly listening to them for a few months. Great band i love, Thinking of a Place, Disappearing,Under the Pressure and Red Eye are my favourites. Great for a long drive!
This tune, this lyric, this sound, this melody fill my mind with absolute bliss, and fills my body with absolute euphoria. It always takes me back to that place, those very special moments in my life.
I just sent 3 of your songs to mybeyonce told him no and I told him carefully listen to the words that's a lasted case close. Thanks for that, the song songs. For me expressing my feelings And the kidneks with the feelings. And the problem that we had rather.I had so your words helped. Thanks for Being you I'm the band number one WAR ON DRUGS❤
I read a review of their recent Glasgow show that said their songs went on so long it was almost like the band didn't know when to end. I felt so embarrassed a music journalist could miss a point the size of multi Grammy's. It's why we love them, they are a jam band, they can extend a song for an hour if they want, it will still be magic.
❤brings back memories of days on the beaxh and many great ni ents in my life Diving or enjoying the mircale of the ocean. So grateful for all the differebt beaches ive waljed on in my kife time. Plus the different cors ofthe sand wasged up on beaches all over this world. As well asthe diferent color reefs in those places. One of the most amazing sights to see in the waters below and eorld thatives beneath. I so miss it daily. ❤😮
Might be the single greatest performance of this song they have done yet. Easily my favorite song of theirs and I think it might be my favorite song ever, of any artist, actually. Next tour, wouldn’t it be insane if they had an actual pedal steel player?? 💀
I will be seeing g these guys in just over a month in Perth, I hope this is the song they finish with for the night, it truly is my all time favourite song already and I only heard it for the first time a month ago!
Have only discovered this band about a month ago. They are perfection, delving deep into their back catalogue, haven't come across a track I want to skip yet.
I'm lucky enough to own a two seater convertible sports car. I also drive a mobile skip. Commonly known as a Transit. Driving either while listening to this just makes my heart 'sing' ❤❤
The conditions of a solitary bird are five. The first, that it flies to the highest point; the second that it does not suffer for company, not even of it's own kind; the third,, that it aims it's beak to the skies; the fourth, that it does not have a definite colour; the fifth,, that it sings very softly. - San Juan de la Cruz, Dichos de Luz y Amor.
