I'm at PlayStation fanboy but after that E3 and having to wait an extra year I just went Xbox. They took really good care of me when I had the red ring of death got it back to me within weeks and that bad boy worked for another 10 years. Thankfully returned to PS4 after that but I wouldn't have it any other way, the game just weren't there until the end of the life cycle of the PS3 and most of those made it to PS4

I am a veteran of the 5 GPU war between Voodoo 3DFX ( RIP) Nvidia, AMD, Matrox ( RIP gaming side) SiS . Voodoo 3DFX is the reason why I sold my PS1 after only playing three titles on it. The fact I was getting triple the amount of pixels and online quake matches in 1997. No brainer for me . At the end of the smoke it looks like AMD at this moment is sitting top of the hill. Since Ryzen tech is on both consoles . People shifted to AMD CPUs something that hasn’t happens pre Ryzen. It’s amazing how many people gaming on a computer now also. There was a time felt like in high school back 2001 it was only me with a Antec Lan Boy case with leds inside and black lights in the room with Christmas lights. Everyone has crazy set ups now and I love it regardless how people game

I wish 7th gen could be repeated. Each front was trying to do better than the other one.

@@Matcc let alone all the extra goddies sony ended up adding to the ps3. i mean you can use a dualsense on the damn thing. I guess you can use a 360 controller on a seriesX, but can't the other way around like the ps3 can.

biggest issue with the PS3 is third party developers didn't really know how to develop on the weird architecture so alot of games had poor performance
