Funny thing is, the Kinect is really good, people have used it on PC to help with animations, it was a cheap motion tracker that was worth the cost. the issue is, game companies either did not utilize what it could do, or just wanted to be lazy

I use two 360 kinects as home security. Gotta love the USB plugs. Then they learned for the Xbox one.

Xbox One’s reveal is ironically the worst of all time and somehow is the most forgotten. Every Xbox One owner I knew didn’t even know about the reveal and even today no one understands why I refuse to buy an Xbox.

Xbox after the 360 has been nothing but flops. Phil Spencer cannot manage Xbox for shit. They’ve been in last place for a long time. 343 has murdered Halo. They’ve yet to release something truly spectacular, while Sony does it damn near every year.

This is 2023. There needs to be a part 2, because Xbox One, Xbox 1X, Series S/X and Gamepass have been complete lies.

One thing that is often overlooked by American commentators when discussing the downfall of the Xbox is that the Xbox one didn't release worldwide like the ps4. My country had to wait a year longer for the Xbox one to release while the ps4 was already available.

the amount of time and care you put into these is astronomical. you deserve every bit of success. keep grinding, the algorithm will bless you one day. my only suggestion is look at your thumbnail and titles. this title is great for your current subscribers, but i don't think it makes someone who has never clicked on your videos click on it. there's courses or even free info out there about making better thumbnails and titles. my own go at it so i'm not all smoke is something like: KINECTING the Dots | how XBOX fell upwards i'm not at all a thumbnail or title expert, but as someone who watches a lot of youtube the current title doesn't exactly grab my attention for the masterpiece of a video this is

For who don't know about PS2 EyeToy the EyeToy was PS2's Kinect but no one knows about it unfortunately but it was the first newmover in market during 6th generation of consoles.

I love the OG XBOX, but the fact that I have to pay 60$ yearly to gain full access to the games I play is what stopped me from purchasing a 360. Unfortunate that Sony and Nintendo began to do the same...

Xbox 360 was still selling strong even with the RRoD but they decided to focus so much on the Kinect to get the Wii market lmao. PS3 have the PS Move but i don’t think they were as bad about it. I still loved the Xbox 360 and lots of great exclusives but dang the red ring was a terrible blunder

The craziest thing to me about the Xbox one launch is they died off what we today recieve as the norm, games must be online, you can't share games, and the 499 price point.. Always find it weird how many people actually like Kinect now..

Imo Phil Spencer is killing Xbox. All he cares about is gamepass. I still love Xbox, I've owned every single one since the original og Xbox. I have my Xbox series s for BC and my PS5 for newer games.

I didn't know about the pricing of Xbox One. By the time they asked for games to be always online and cannot be shared, I stopped following XBox news. Never knew about the butthole scanning requirement neither.

Feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone because I've noticed for YEARS that Xbox and Phil lie all the time and make promises they always break.. no games, no massive can't miss games except maybe you could consider Forza and Halo that but BOTH faded into obscurity and won nothing at TGA. 2023 and the only new games Xbox has is Redfall (probably 7/10 at best) and Starfield which is looking like something massively overhyped.. I am DONE giving them the benefit of the doubt and thank God I have a PC and PS5 to compensate.

Are we going to ignore the fact that Xbox kinda slapped Sony around during the Xbox 360 era and they had plenty of good IPs Gears of War 1-3 and Halo 3 and they even had exclusivity with call of duty during it's prime well with it's dlc anyways we got it like a month earlier than playstation.

Prototype is a better version of Spiderman where you feel more powerful. Spiderman is literally almost a direct copy of prototype it's not anything ground breaking even though it is fun. God of War is not anything ground breaking either even though it is fun. None of Sony's games are groundbreaking.

I mean PS3 eventually won worldwide in the end due to 360 not gaining foothold in Japan but 360 absolutely dominated in certain regions like the US. In hindsight pretty much every PS3 exclusive aged really poorly but this is imo. If you're from the US then the 360 won in your region
