we just have the full melee pakage hard to kill good burst and now also great sustain damage, on top of all the tools to get out of any problem, i see a lot of melee complaning about us in the future lol
Im still new to retail wow i main surv hunter but i use to play ret on era and loved it. One thing i noticed is every ret i group with absolutely fucking pumps. Im convinced they op
I tried Judge Jury and Executioner build after seeing your previous video and it feels great. Especially since many dungeons have small pulls with a high hp mob included. I hope the build stays relevant into release.
I tried templar once. used Wake of ashes and another builder to get to 5 . Drop the hammer and suddenly sit at 0 Holy Power with your best builder (wake) on cooldown.... Is it just me or does that feel super awkward? This might make the difference for me to reroll to monk (no pun intended)
I will not be using Radiant Glory.. It killed my DPS tremendously. Burst was down as long as sustained. Totally not worth it. Not to mention the buff is 20 seconds with Avenging Wrath every minute. With Radiant Glory its 16 seconds of Wrath every minute. No thank you.
So in the prepatch with radiant glory you can reach around 56% uptime of wings over a dungeon a lot higher then normal wings BUT we are at end game xpac stat levels, what i think will most likely happen is that we will use 1 min wings for the start of the first season of TWW then move into Radiant glory once we have enough stats to spam spenders to proc it often
@LightbladeGaming Hey :) Can you help me understand something? How does the new mastery in regards to the judgment part work exactly? I've heard somewhere that the effect with the extra holy damage can only occur on the primary target, even though it doesn't say that. So if you have 3 targets and you cast judgement (with the talent so that it does hit up to 3 targets) and it hits all 3, do all 3 have a chance to proc the extra effect from the new mastery or just the primary target hit by judgment?
@LightbladeGaming How do you feel about the range change. It feels weird to me, that other abilities have like a 30 yard range and Crusading Strikes is now meele range. For what do we have that much range on some abilities then?
I got to be honest i barely felt it with crusading strikes but thats mostly cause i, even with the range we had still played mostly in melee (old habits) the only time i did feel the loss of range was on my interrupt and the range that they give to our other spells is so we dont lose uptime because we can still build hp and spend
uuhhhh the new intro is badass! that's the way i always log out, but i also use shield of vengeance and bubble for the extra shiny style + the chi-ji wings from the mop remix toy xD referring to the rotation, are we gonna use final reckoning before or after wings? how does it feel loosing 3y of melee range?
After wake of ashes/wings we use final reckoning and to be honest i havent felt the loss of range at all with crusading strikes, i did however notice it on our interrupt
With ret moving to the wake of ashes talent proccing wings, do you think for trinkets instead of using 1 passive/1 on-use trinket we will switch to 2 passive trinkets instead? Was thinking of getting pips/augury/nels call trinkets for leveling 70-80 and then just using 2 passive trinkets.
I think double passive will be the play just to help with consistent damage or if theres a good 1 min cooldown trinket that can be paired well with final reckoning, for now just have to wait for the full list of available trinkets, ill make a video on them when its all released
I really like Herald of the Sun right now, and these changes doesn't make it feel any worse. More importantly, I think it's the right choice in order to properly balance Avenging Wrath / Crusade against Radiant Glory. With this change you'll see approximately the same amount of total applications whether you've pick up Radiant Glory or not, you just wont get them all at once.
Yeah it was just too op at the start of testing could get up to 10 dawnlights if good procs, now its still very strong just balanced, oh and the last change to suns avatar wasnt a new nerf they just reposted some older patch notes we should still be able to get 3 downlights with radiant glory+ sometimes 1 extra if wings procs
Well have to see the sims, but having wake of ashes give us wings on demand has very good synergy with hero talents plus our tier set mostly because of multiplicative damage modifiers
Been thinking about coming back, i had a lot of fun pvping in DF just got burned out like always. Hows the game feeling these days? I look foward to playing my ret again and of course my rogue and alts
At the moment its a bit slow you know end of expac, but they are doing great changes for the next one for both pve and pvp, for pvp they are adding rated bgs that you can que for plus improving how you get gear
@@LightbladeGaming That sounds really nice, is there a catch up right now for me to come back and gear up a few chars and a few things to do before pre patch? Or just wait? Thanks again! Will sub
@@bobstoner415 Yeah gearing is currently very fast for pvp you get extra conquest and for pve you can buy raid stuff from a vendor just have to raid a bit to get the currency LFR does count, Doing the outworld content also gives decent starting gear
yep its gone i didnt really feel it too much, but thats mostly couse i play like old school ret most of the time just my old habits, but i do have to admit not having range on our interrupt is very annoying probably the worst part of that nerf
@@thundergodd6086 went into beta to confirm and its 10% atleast for ret, i do remember they made it 5% for holy paladins. Forgot to mention one more thing we can even get up to 12% avoidance with obdurancy if you really need it
