Updates and corrections to be posted here. In this current beta build the gathering and basic bolt making specs are "traps" if taken early and crafters won't be able to level to skill 75. Likely to change and the method will be posted here later. Edit: Not mentioned were profession crafts. Mastery is linked to the head and chest armor specializations similarly to Dragonflight.
Thanks for the heads up on the way cloth drops work. I’m going to switch at least one more character over to tailoring to support with the cloth gathering.
Was just thinking the same thing. Any alts you play a lot in PvE content as could give more value as a tailor rather than just another Alchemist if they're already picking up another tradeskill
Thanks for this guide. I shall be following it on my Tailors. Although I am aware that things can and will change . I abandoned professions in df for the first xpac ever as having checked it out, it looked way too time-consuming, too expensive and overcomplicated for not enough reward I was also completely confused and befuddled by it all. 😮 Hopefully WW professions will be more accessible to a casual like me. 😊
Cloth mats have typically been one of the resources that fill up my storage rather quickly. Glad to see in TWW that cloth mat gathering will be more of an intentional endeavor.
thanks heaps - great playlist! subscribed!!! i haven't looked at your page yet, for bonus algorithm points ay. which thingys sell best...? like, on my main (warlock), I've sat with tailoring / enchanting since like Vanilla. Which of the specialisations make the best gold (or, specifically, wastes the least gold in levelling*)?
Cloth is gonna be EASY AF to obtain, since all you gotta do is kill Humanoids, way easier than flying around looking for Ore nodes, yet still suffers from RNG. at least while my Tailor is leveling, she can also level her Enchanting at the same time, disenchanting gear made with Rank 1 mats.
@@UltimateGamerCC yeah i know. the only thing i need to unlock the card specialization is luredrop which can be found in ringing deeps (too bad u need to do isle campaign to unlock it). i bet the darkmoon cards will be hot stuff for weapon slots or trinket for gearing up. i did like a 30mins cloth farm and i get roughly around 150cloths+ 1-2 dmc cards
@@radzytaufek604 possibly, but since Season 1 wont be starting for 3 weeks after launch day, you wont have Sparks to make Decks, you'll be one of the first to provide Decks when the Sparks come out, but at first you're gonna be sitting on that skillset. my focus is gonna be on leveling up and providing Blues from my crafting toons.
@@UltimateGamerCC yeah im gonna lvl my tailor army (it will be the 1st time im doin it) but im kinda instrested with skinning path . im not planning to focus on crafting gears but i will focus more on prof tools
Skinning 'alts' are kind of risky. In your case with that and scavenging you need to be very active on that alt killing mobs for both cloth and skins which are for the most part mutually exclusive.
Im just crafting for myself..I have other char who will be minning and enchanting and jewel crafting..but this is also just for me..I want to be decked out all gemmed and enchanted..
Still trying to figure out what to pair with tailoring. The first toon I level is going to be tailoring + ? so I won’t have a herbalist/miner to support. Maybe inscription? What do you think?
its kinda werid that the goblin racial still exist since the human was removed because they want to give warbands an adv having a human. But goblins do the same thing
honestly, no they dont. Goblins get a raw discount at Vendors while Humans were able to hit Exalted with Factions 10% faster. Humans lost diplomacy for the ease of Rep gains, not for discounts.
It’s not really that complex, and I think overall trying to upgrade crafting is good in the long term. I don’t feel like working on things that last past 1 expansion as a waste.
Some of us like the new crafting system. So you feel like only the part of the game you enjoy is valid? It’s a big game with a huge team to work on different things. Pet battles being developed don’t hurt raids. Bigger teams all on a single thing don’t necessarily make it better. Too many cooks.
Without the new system, crafting is entirely irrelevant. Unless they do a Shadowlands like system. Which was absolutely God awful. If you can put points in your class tree, you can put points in a profession tree. Get real.
Wonders how much content and relevant system a well developed profession content and relevant profession system cost you? This is content we need. Not some more transmog or a dungeon you do once.
