Thanks for this! Recently I've been testing out ironjawz with the new Bloodpelt hunter ogor, pulling the fighters in and all of the other Orruk gang up and kill it, so they could at least deal with the range issue they sometimes would suffer from. It can also have the utility to body block the fighter so they can't disengage. I like that Warchanter list, I'm gonna try testing that 😁
I tried the list you suggested a while ago with 2 warchanters and the rest of ardboyz w Big Chopa and it is great fun ! Easy to play and not too shaby. With only 2 profiles in the list it also makes for a great list to suggest to beginners
I like to run a Megaboss and a boss on the off chance I get a double & a triple. Waghh into megawhaa is hilarious for how much extra movent it can give your guys
you get all the Ironjawz experience without needing to choose between painting old crumbly ardboyz and buying new beautiful ardboyz that only have 1 of the two good profiles.
Taking a list and i wanted to get the groups opinion: Warchanter Ogor crusher Brute with gore-choppa Boggleeye Ardboy with big choppa × 4 I know the crusher is no gutlord but if i can get him in the warchanters bubble he can spike. Boggleeye is for points or if something REALLY scary comes along and the boyz with the brute for points efficiency. Appreciate the feedback!
Following up. List did pretty well! The crusher held its own against the formo though it ended up losing where the gutlord would have likely won. Brute and boggleeye both did amazing work on keeping enemies off point or not counting. Next time I'll likely add in some shields instead of all choppas
I just play casually with friends, but have been using: Brute Boss w/ Choppa Gore Grunta w/ Jagged Hacka Brute with Gore Choppa x3 Does everyone think this list is bad due to the low model count?
It was odd to see the last warcry metawatch with no rules for the brand new IJ models either. I almost wonder if there's another IJ release coming soonish that's holding all this up.
Hi, firstly thanks for what you do, and secondly, you do mention some alternatives to the GW miniatures and all, do you bring them to the tournament and everything is being considered okay, no sideglances, nothing at all, nobody cares about it being non-official miniatures? Asking because my local group seem to be very stern in that regards and even proxying a generic vampire lord with shield with another without shield is a big no-no. Do you guys have the different attitude to it all?
Interesting. I think it's best practice for proxies to be pretty similar in vibe to whatever they're standing in for, but locally we've never had problems with people being unaccepting or with people bringing proxies that are too much of a stretch.
