The inspiration for Amour came from of all things, the Pixar movie Ratatouille. A French couple are fighting like cats and dogs then make up and fall into each others arms.
Definitely do Martirio, not only is in Spanish but it’s one of their top songs and Dany’s vocals are amazing. The video and the live performance are top notch, I can’t pick which one is better.

Yes Indeed. I totally agree that Martirio is the one. Both Dany's guitar work and vocals will blow you away. IMHO, Martirio is probably the very best composed and arranged song they've ever done - musically. The CDMX live version is great, and their official music video is one of my favorite videos of theirs (along with Evolve done with the IPhones). I think you should react to CDMX and watch the music video on your own - OR - do them both in the same reaction!
They currently only have 2 songs in Spanish: Martirio (recommend the OMV first) and Narcissista (older song with no OMV, but usual go to is the live debut of the song at el Foro Didi on their channel). 😎👍

"Martirio" is one of my favorite songs, and Pau's drums are even more incredible than usual. I can honestly say they are in my top five Bands/singers of all time. Happy Valentine's Day Red! (is it okay to call you Red?) "Amour" is a great song to do on Valentine's Day. I love how expressive Dany is while singing this song, her body language, facial expressions, her vocals, especially in the French verse are perfect.

If you want to hear Pau listen to Narcisista, if you want to hear Dany listen to Martirio. Martirio is gorgious and shows off Dany's vocal prowess and the bands composing skills and Narcisista is spunky and fun and is Pau's response to critics about them writing songs in English.
I have been following the warning for a couple of years now and as everyone says, their favorite song is the one after the last one. This particular song though was a sleeper for me initially. But after hearing it a couple of times it has quickly become one of my favorites. The rhythm and tempo, the voices, the instruments, the lyrics, all come together to create another masterpiece for the warning. The only part that is on par with watching the warning is watching your reactions to them! Thanks for all.
As you go through their incredibly extensive catalog of original songs you won’t find any throw away. You find any song that sounds like another one of their songs. They are magic, and Martirio is an absolute masterpiece.
It'd be impossible to pick a favorite TW song, but if somebody pointed a gun to my head and I had to pick, I'd probably say Amour. This live performance was absolutely magical.

2 songs in Spanish is Narcisista & Martirio. Both are red hot bangers. Narcisista is more a hard punk rock with killer attitude, and Martirio is a majestic Rock Anthem that would get a stadium of 100k chanting along in time. I say just do them both at the same time. Most underrated song by the girls. Pau got inspired while watching Ratatouille peep on a squabbling couple in the movie. Probably explains the verse in French which could have been taught in school as a 3rd language. Apparently they addressed the crowd in French while touring Eastern Canada with Three Days Grace in 2022. Sadly The Warning didn't play this song at Lyon in June last year when they opened for Muse at Groupama Stadium, the home of Olympique Lyonnais. To close out Amour the sisters get together with that long mesmerizing harmony. Ale in the lower scales, Pau in middle & Dany exploring the upper range with power. Dany cried while recording this song. I really want to know how close to tears David Bendeth, the producer, was though. He absolutely adores the girls. Crying with The Warning is very much par for the course. Dany’s soaring vocals at the end is so beautiful. 😍 I recommend Martirio…a twofer actually: OMV followed by live at Teatro Metropolitan. It’s another gorgeous song by these talented ladies begging to be reacted by a gorgeous redhead reactor 😊.
I think you would enjoy the Mayday in the Making documentary series. There's 6 vids that are relatively short. All can be done in one vid or you can break em up into segments.
This song showcases everything great about them; Harmony, instruments, change ups in chorus, lyrics, language, and the build up toward the end leaving us wanting the song to continue but it hard stops.

Martirio is one of my favorites.. It's in Spanish..I don't speak Spanish, but I do speak music. Martirio is excellent on so many levels, it's simply amazing..give it a try..🤘🎶☮️

Think of it this way. Dany's first language is Spanish, sings almost exclusively in English goes and sings a few bars in French. How insanely talented is she. Running out of adjectives to describe this band. In the roughly 16 months listening to them they've jumped into my number 2 favorite band just behind Metallica. That's ahead of Testament and Iron Maiden.

Definitely check out MARTIRIO as one of their Spanish songs. That song is breathtaking. The official music video is absolutely gorgeous but the Teatro Metropolitan live version is great as well. Can't really go wrong either way.

This is one of my favorite songs for Pau's drumming. I love her tom work, especially her floor toms. The Warning only has two songs in Spanish, "Narcisista" and "Martirio." I love both songs, but I'm going to favor "Narcisista" from the Teatro concert because it features Pau in a very different role from what you're used to so far. "Martirio" is great, though, so there's no wrong answer. Seeing this channel's name always reminds me of the redheaded neighbor I grew up next to. She was 20 years older than me but that never stopped her from flirting once I hit 16 or 17 years old. Nothing happened until I turned 18, and from then on it was -good- *great* times.
Depends on what you’re in the mood for considering TW’s Spanish songs? If you want sassy Pau unleashed I’d suggest Narcisista. If you want a beautiful visual experience (OMV) and an equally beautiful song with Dany’s soaring vocals then Martirio is a must. Either way both are magnificent even if you don’t speak a lick of Spanish!

My vote goes to "Martirio" and I also suggest a double reaction and we watch the OMV first and then the live version of the Metropolitan, you will love both, anyway TW has several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock… With their structure, their rhythms, their breaks, pauses, transitions, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, their endings… This piece is also different, but with all the flavor of TW. How did they do it? It’s more than clear that these sisters have no limits. They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the contagious rhythms, catchy melodies and the ambiguous but profound messages… The new masters of rock: The Warning. 🤘😁✌️
Good Valentine's Day choice! They don't call French a romance language for nothing. For a Spanish song, I'd vote for Martirio (live at Teatro). It's such an anthem, regardless of the language. It might even become your favorite The Warning song.

Do both from this concert, Narcisista and Martirio are both great songs although I must say Martirio is more a rock anthem and is so good. Do a double shot of both from this concert as both hold a small surprise for you. Not gonna spoil it for you.

Red … if you want a sassy one and Pau singing, go for ‘Narsisista’ (Live from Teatro Metropolitan). But if you want an EPIC one, definitely ‘Martirio’ (Official video). One of my fave. Either way, you’ll never be sorry. But I suggest you do both. Like a Double Feature. 😃 🤘🏼⚡️✌🏼❤️👍🏼
Martirio live from this concert is the one to watch and react to. The OMV is good but it depends on what you prefer, I would go with the Live version from teatro Metropolitan.

Spanish songs: "Narcisista" is a sarcastic raspberry to the folks who criticize them for singing in English, and "Martirio" is a glorious, majestic anthem about reminding someone that we all suffer, so stop being self-centered and learn how to deal with your fate and move on. Knowing how well-read and educated Pau is, I think its easy to interpret the death and suffering mentioned in her lyrics as implicit metaphors about the brutal forced religious conversions the native Mexicans endured at the hands of Spanish invaders.
There are only two Spanish songs to choose from: Martirio and Narcisista. I'd go with Narcisista first, because it's basically a kick in the teeth to their haters, and it always gives me the impression of being Pau's fetish song (like When I'm alone is Dany's). The Metropolitan Theatre version sounds great, although there Pau is replaced on drums by Beto Ramos (her teacher) and plays 100% frontwoman. There are plenty of live performances to choose from.
