One practical thing relates to this too: as being a trio, soloing are more difficult to accomplish while maintaining full sound. Yes, sure there are tricks to do it, and musical solutions to do it and many bands do it, but it needs different kind of approach than bands with one more player.
What an incredible performer is Dany! And the "sibling magic", as Pau calls it, is off the charts with this band. Thank your for reacting to The Warning!!
If you want to see them really rock out, 'Evolve' and 'Disciple' are 2 of the hardest rock songs on their new album. Both have official music videos and pro-shot live performances available.
I have been following them for several year's. And have not seen a bad song yet. I also must say that I'm not a young fan, my first concert was also a 3-piece band. The band was Grand Funk Railroad. In all my years I've seen and heard a lot of good music but have also heard lots of bad also. Thier music reminds me of better days. Until finding these ladies I was not sure I would ever hear any good rock in my remaining years.
The thing with them, is that their musical vision flies well above their personal egos. That’s why they’re so amazingly tight. They all pull their weight equally, and the result speaks for itself. They’re f awesome.
I'm glad you reacted to The Warning after that new Avenged Sevenfold song this lifted my spirits as one of my favorite bands seems to be on the decline 🥺I'm happy I have a new favorite band that is just getting started🙂
Enjoyed your reaction, guys! Like you say, just a trio, producing a wall of sound and different layers… love this punky energy here in this song! Alejandra is the most shy, reserved of the three… but her basslines are top notch! Love this fat bass slide before the last chorus! See ya, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘
All of their songs are great, here are some others you can react to: XXI Century Blood (Official music video), Survive (Live at TedX 2017), Dust to Dust (Live at Lunario), P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. (Live at The Whiskey a GoGo 2020), When I'm Alone (Live in Edmonton, CA 2022), Choke (Official music video), Evolve (Official music video), Disciple (Official music video), Queen of the Murder Scene (Live at Lunario), Dull Knives Cut Better (Live from the Warning Cave)
Dani is the lioness of the band she's fierce...Pau is the wild/awesome musical genius.. Ale is like the superhero who drives that awesome bass.. as her weapon of choice.. glad you found The warning.. enjoy the ride. "Hold On"... 🎶🤟TWA....
Thanks for coming back to The Warning. "Hell, yeah!" indeed. Yes, these young women are so so good. Tremendous sound from only three pieces. They are the shot in the arm that rock has been needing for 30 years IMHO. Not flashy. Just good rock tunes, played very well, by a tight trio of excellent musicians. What else could you ask for? I can vouch for them being amazing live. Saw them last year both in a small club (230 people) and in a large venue (with Halestorm). They tore up the place. These Teatro videos give 90+% the experience of their live shows. They are one of the few bands I will say are better live than on their excellent albums. Welcome to The Warning Rabbit Hole and the ranks of the Warneros. FYI CDMX is the tetragraph designator for Cuidad de Mexico (what we north of the border would call Mexico City)
Fun Fact: Up until this album they were always chasing in the studio the energy they conveyed live. Live has always been where they are best. They aren’t just musicians, they are an experience. Kudos to their producer David Bendeth for capturing that energy and bringing it to the Error album. He got close…but when you watch their live performances they dial up everything (especially these two nights in August, 2022). The nights in Teatro Metropolitan are already legendary. Great reaction!
One of the most endearing things about this band is their genuine emotion and love of their fans. At the end of these two shows, when taking their bows with their whole crew, the crowd was going nuts, throwing stuffed animals and other gifts onstage for them. So much love that Pau burst into tears and cried on her little sister Ale's shoulder! THIS is why we love them so much! You have to see them live to fully appreciate it!
They nail everything they touch. I know that sound like a ridiculous overstatement, but I challenge you to show me where I’m wrong. Their songs are significantly different from one another that most people go from song to song each time their favorite is the last one they heard. So good, and their lyrics are always significant, no fluff. Thanks. You will totally love discovering more of The Warning.
Yeah Animosity is another badass song. I sometimes get confused by the lyrics and get the feeling I'm missing something, but that doesn't take away the fact that their songs are mostly so catchy. Btw after they released Animosity, they had a collab with Webtoon and I'm The Grim Reaper (which was a big news for anime lovers) and they released an animated music video for this song. I'll drop the link here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LkAP-ydpTys.html
Their live performances are so full of energy! This show especially, you could clearly tell they were having an absolute blast performing for their fans. One of the things that make them so endearing, and make us fans so loyal is how genuine they are to their fans and how they treat us like a big family. They are so humble and down to earth, funny and playful that you can't help but love them and be a fan. Looking forward to following you on your The Warning journey! Looks like I had forgotten to subscribe last time, but that's done now! Cheers!
As several people have mentioned, Dany doesn't do solos unless she feels like the song calls for it. "Z" is a great example if you want to hear her solo. I would suggest the live session version that you can find on their youtube site. Enjoyed your reaction. Nice, simple, honest. Look forward to the next TW reaction.
Pro-shot Video & audio FTMFW! Every song from both of these sold out 2 hour long sets at that upper crust venue, over a weekend in the heart of Mexico City, are Grammy worthy Gold. There are 2 more available to the public on their channel currently, and we hope many more over time. This about as close your going to get to the actual experience, and what it's like to see them Live. Phenomenal performers who just know how to rock your face off without all the Broadway/Vegas dance/glitter used to distract, from lack of actual talent. 🤘⚡🤘
Where to go next with The Warning you’re wondering? You can’t really make a bad choice, but I suggest trying out Dust to Dust, Lunario performance. This is the songs first live performance ( in fact they play the whole album live for the first time). The song is considered the “prologue” on their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene Pau, the drummer, takes lead vocals, as she does on about a quarter of their songs. Uncharacteristically, they opened with this song when I saw them open for Three Days Grace in Vancouver this past November. Great energy. The ladies are noticeably younger in the Lunario video ( 18,16,13) but equally awesome. They opened for The Killers at these same ages. Can you imagine 13 year old Ale’s, “ so what did you do on the weekend” conversations with her classmates.
If you get into "Queen of the Murder Scene" do yourself a favor and go from first to last as it is a concept lp. Live at Luminario. Saw them in pittsburgh. yup
From the first time I heard this song, it became instantly one of my favored Warning song, and I’m really happy to se, that more and more commenters pointing out Ales bass in this masterpiece. Not like I’m not blown away from the other two instruments, “ played by her sisters “ but I think that not a mistake calling her a living Metronome.
Buena reacción. Las hermanas mexicanas tienen Rock en las venas y sus canciones son pegadizas, pero su talento y pasión por la música son sus ejes centrales.🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽 Saludos!!
They are all masters of their instruments and their sound is so full but when they add the harmonies it takes that power to another level. Love this band so much! You will get a glimpse of how good Dani is in some songs where she lets loose a little solo but for the most part it's riffs and melodies.
They are making it fashionable not to use guitar solos. Dany play some here and there, then you realize that a solo is not really needed many times; nevertheless the ones she does are really great and melodic.. one that stands out for me in that sense is at the end of "show me the light" song. Great rractoin man!.
Any live show can´t be regretted, in Rock al Parque 2022 in Bogotá , Colombia they only had half hour of show but the place became crowded, there where a little mosh pit circle , powerful cheers, unforgetable for my daughter and me . Greetings from Panama
Where to go next depends on where your tastes run as TW can be very diverse in their writing. For a punk sound, try "PSYCHOTIC." For a grunge sound try "Dust to Dust." For a more metal sound, there is "Evolve." For a ballad (sung by the drummer), try "23." Great sample platter.
Thanks guys, it's a true pleasure seeing new reactors getting to know The Warning. Sorry I don't know the young woman's name, thanks for turning your husband? onto The Warning. Subbed for many more that I hope is coming in the near future. Peace.
Dany solo Queen of the murder scene have one veeery nice. And of course Z. and then EVOLVE and DISCIPLE. And then Pau the drums sing a LOT and very well, Dust to Dust or Narcisista. The drummer sings in both of them and Dany have a solo in Narcisista. I FUCKING LOVE THEM.
Dani can shred the guitar, but they don't add solo's or fill's just to add them, they only put it in if they feel it moves the song. They all care more about the integrity of the music than showing off. I appreciate that about them. If you want to see an original with a solo, check out "Kool Aid Kids" or if you just want to see Dani shred, check out their cover of "Atlas Rise" by Metallica.👍♥️🤘
Love the reaction! You could check Disciple or their cover of Enter Sandman from the same concert. I recommend Dull Knives (live from The Warning cave for Detour) it's a few years old but it's the best 3 and a half minutes of Rock you've ever seen.
Shannon knew of them LOOONG before bringing it to my attention then the WHOLE ARMY showed up here. They are amazing and cannot wait to catch them live!!
Glad you found this Band. They are so damn Good. So talented. Hope you keep going down this rabbit hole. Check out their brilliant concept Album "Queen of the Murder scene" First song is "Dust to Dust" live at Lunario (Drummer sings lead)
Hey!! FYI: CDMX = Cuidad De Mexico = Mexico City. ;) You will not get a lot of solos from The Warning. But, when you do, they are perfect for the song. But, what you will get in every song: Great Hooks, Riffs, Basslines, Drums, Harmonies, Vocals, Lyrics, bridges, Dynamics, Energy and FUN!! These sisters are destined for greatness. When all is said and done they may be one of the greatest of all time. Future Legends!
I think it's funny that she turned him on to the band. In my case, it was the opposite - I'd been kind of on-and-off following them for years here on RU-vid, and last year while preparing for a long road/camping trip with "the guys", I bought all their albums at once. Listened to them all the way out to Death Valley and back, and still had them playing when I came home. Shortly after, my wife came with me on a trip to the next town over and I was playing them on the car stereo, and she asks "Wow! Who is this??" I told her about them, and she listened raptly to the rest of "Error" and most of "Escape the Mind" before we got back home. Next thing I knew, I'd created a monster. It was all Warning, all the time around the house for the next two weeks. 😋
Not their first time headlining a show, but this is a glimpse into a future of headlining big venues and the quality of production they are capable of. They have a full year of playing at festivals and sharing the stage with Muse and maybe some other bands. But I think this will be the last year that they aren't the headliner throughout their tours. And yes, there are some US dates scheduled for this year, just they haven't released the info publicly yet. Hopefully, they'll ad some more dates as well. They need to come back to Las Vegas! (hint, hint). They played over 100 shows last year. I don't know if they will top that this year, but I know the demand is out there as their fanbase continues to grow.
No 10 minute long drum or guitar solos is one of the things I appreciate about The Warning. You know, I'm 77 and remember my college days when The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Led Zep, Cream, and the other great guitar bands of the day changed my life. These three uber-talented chicas are giving me the same vibe. All three are at the top of their game. If you watch videos of their live shows, they are absolutely professional. Don't waste time between songs or tuning their instruments. If Dany's guitar is out of tune, she asks a helper to give her a new one. Anyway, welcome to the Warning Army.
Dany has her solo moments and she's pretty particular in how she writes them. The solo's according to the band need to fit, and be tasteful. They are an infusion of rock that we need! thanks for another great reaction.
THE WARNING presente y futuro del ROCK!!!⚡⚡🤘🤘
Enjoying your journey down The Warning rabbit hole. Just because you mentioned guitar solos, they exist, but exist in only a small number of their songs. When you see them, you will note that they tend to be relatively short and not exercises in show-off shredding. Dany only does them when the song requires it and she tailors the solos to the needs of the song rather than her own ego. They tend to be, "lyrical" if that makes any sense to you. FWIW, i would commend you to the following songs for solos: Z live session, Queen of the Murder Scene, When I'm Alone, and XXI Century Blood (There is a great OMV/short film for this one) off the album of the same name. There is a live studio session for Z as well as any number of recent concert performances. Queen of the Murder Scene can be found on their concept album by the same name along with any number of live performances over the summer as well as performances opening for Muse this winter and The World is a Vampire festival last week. Those two (2) solos are the closest she gets to an outright shred session. When I'm Alone can also be found on their first full length album, XXI Century Blood as well as any number of concert performances over this past Summer/Fall. I hope you'll stay with DPA and explore their catalogue a bit.
How about going back to 2012 in our DeLorean automobile before the girls called themselves *The Warning.* At this time Dany was 12. Today she's 23. Pau was 10. Today she's 21. Little Ale was only 7. Today, 18. They played at their school''s Christmas Festival. They played *"God Gave Rock and Roll To You".* A *Kiss* cover of an original song from the band *Argent* (best known for their 1972 hit *"Hold Your Head Up").* ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C_4Lfd3R2cs.html

I love/hate to inform you, but you have all the classic symptoms of a couple on the verge of going hard down TW rabbit hole! Let it happen, we’ll break your fall!

Thanks for the reaction, if you want and have an opportunity please react to their enter sandman's cover, its not really a full cover its more like a remake of the song, the video is a live version, and it's really good. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vg9vNE7gm0I.html
All of them are so skilled and talented, Dani and Pau are more histrionic, but I think Ale is the secret weapon and her wonderfully played bass keep their music together… they will be one of the best bands in the world.
